    Seamless repairability too.

    Exactly what I was looking for in order to do my No-Cal scale models. By sheer luck, I use TurboCAD. This was one of the best how-to videos I have ever seen.

    Excellent presentation. Now maybe my next model will look less like a prune! Thanks.

    Great video Dereck. I learned a lot on treating tissue and keeping the colors from running. Lots of great tips!

    Nice work. it's nice to see that folks still build their models, stick and tissue Rocks!

    Nice one Derek. Exactly the information I was looking for. Lot of steps but the finish is well worth the effort. Cheers.

    Interesting. You're effectively doing a physical analogue of what computer 3D modellers call "UV unwrapping".

    Thanks for all the great videos, Derek. Excellent presentation (easy to listen to).
    What circular light do you use to backlight the tissue?

    • @funscalemodels9782
      @funscalemodels9782  2 года назад

      Thank you Gene. I'm not sure where I acquired the circular light- there is a small clip at the end to allow you to attach it to things. I've found the light on your cell phone works well too. I also picked up a "table light for tracing" from Amazon. It works really well and was around $20

    Hello, anyone could tell me how to do a camouflage covering on a WWII scale model? Can we print the cammo on the paper or should I use several diferent colors? High performance is not that much of an issue as they are Guillow's kits I use just for fun in the park and flying around memorials in Normandy. Thanks!

      Hello, I printed the colors, camo, insignia, and panel lines directly on the tissue.

      @@funscalemodels9782 Thanks, but what I'm looking for is how those guys print the whole wing, with panels, camo and insignias, looks just like the real thing... Cheers!

      I promise this is the last email I will write you but will TurboCAD Designer 2023 -- as far as you know be good enough to print tissue like you are doing. Thank-you for your time again

      @@stephengould9385 hi Stephen, no worries. Yes that sounds like it should work. I just use TC to design the templates- if you are just printing already created ones no CAD is necessary
