What's on my mind? That's such a loaded question. Many of you will think this is not something you post on Facebook. Well I would have said that myself a week ago... now, I need to share this.
Very recently I went through something no one should ever have to deal with. It's time to share.
I was alone I was stressed out. My child was super ill. My family was out of the country. My boyfriend and I had split up. I had no friends as my so called friends ended up being horrible people. That's besides the point. I was in need and someone offered to help. I needed groceries so someone had offered to drop me off groceries. When this person came, he kept forcing himself of me. As much as I said no stop I don't want to, I was terrified.
I won't go into detail, but I was sexually assaulted.
Yes I went to the police. It took me sometime to even tell anyone as in the past he police and basically everyone had failed me.
Well the police are now trying to discourage me from fighting him in court. Why is it that they make it almost impossible to win rape cases. They wonder why so many women are taken advantage of, it's because they let scumbags like him get away with it. Well no more.
Everyone should know what this person is like, if the cops won't help me, I will continue to share my story. Hopefully no other women ever has to be put in that position.
With that being said.
Virgil cardinal tried to befriend me, acted like he cared but all he wanted was one thing. He took what he wanted & left. He took my dignity my pride and left me completely broken. & what do I get? Nothing. I'm left with anxiety, ptsd so broken I can't function. Scared to be home but scared to leave my home. & he's just going to get to walk around like nothing happened. Well not if I can help it. Everyone should know what type of scum he is. If he befriends you, be safe, think clearly. #nomeansno
