I'm 65 years young, still remember when Silk degrees came out. Again you guys&girls do such historic songs proud. Alot of people wouldn't get the musical professionalism that goes into these songs. The musicians are all so good that the amazing vocals are almost secondary. Usually, that kind of "brilliant" vocals stands out and the vocalist gets a lot of credit. It's nice that the whole group is brilliant and full of talent. Well done everyone!

Who's vinyl collection had this forgotten gem in it? Seriously. You guys took a forgotten song, basically on life support...took the paddles to it and yelled "CLEAR!" and brought it back to life. Absolutely fantastic as always.

I fell in love with this band over two years ago and they never disappoint me. Con, the arrangements were magical, the Bass and lead guitar on point and that flute....Annie did her thing. This video is going to play all night on my Bose Bluetooth speaker.....love this.....give you guys a million thumbs up 👍

Wow , this song is an iconic classic of the 1970's and once again HSCC has done a marvelous job on this song. Annie's flute put a beautiful finishing touch on this song. The flute was really distinct with this song.

Great to see Annie showing off her woodwind and brass instruments talent. Love this remake. This song put Boz Scaggs in to the pop charts and the Billboard listings. The entire LP of Silk Degrees was epic for him and his band. Outstanding rendition and so well orchestrated.

Again a great cover from the guys down under. I love the song. HSCC made it sound exactly like Scagg's original. From me, as a drummer, special compliments to drummer Brad. Thanks so much, Willie P!! It sure is a tough one to play the 16ths at this speed - luckily I didn't have to do it ALL the way through the song. The original has overdubbed 16th hihats - you can clearly hear them, 16ths in left and 8s in the right channel and that got me off the hook for having to play it for the whole song!! Wow - massive respect to Annie Isaksson who is so very talented: flute and trombone? Let's also give Dave Ross a massive thank you. He's a constant with HSCC, and very rarely mentioned in the comments - and his collection of hats sported on each of his performances is super cool, and has definitely got to be his trademark.
I love Boz Scaggs and I have a DVD of his concert at the Beacon Theater in NYC. It’s one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. Another great performance by HSCC. Thanks!

What we are watching now with HSCC is group of people who have gone beyond dropping into a studio now and then. You have all become a musical family and it has been lovely to watch that happen. It’s easy to become blasé about seeing you all each week. The is is live folks! It’s a phenomenal achievement Dave and Jordan. Drums and bass are everything in this track - just superb Brad and Con, as you always are. And the lighting in this is gorgeous. And Pina Del Re is gorgeous - just look at yourself girl. 😍

An excellent rendition again, friends. 👍 Danny came very close to imitating the characteristic sound of Boz Scaggs' voice, the lead guitar was accurate and had a warm distortion sound, Annie's flute also sounded spot-on, and the whole band was grooving again - snappy drums and percussion, funky bass, and everyone was on the same page. You all faithfully captured and recreated the vibe of this classic - and this is not an easy song to cover! 🙂 🏆🏆🏆
