I appreciate the video. In my opinion, it looks good enough to see a trespasser in your bushes, but not to tell if it's your brother or a stranger. You can spot the dog or coyote, but probably not tell the difference. I can see the value, but I think I'm looking for something higher resolution for my bad vision. This video saved me some serious money. Thank you.
If I were basing a purchase decision on this video, I'd agree with you. Not sure why they didn't scroll through the various color pallets which greatly highlights heat signatures. I use mine to reveal jackrabbits and it does so easily at over 100 yards.
I have one and it barely detects anything. Couldn't even see a man walking in a dry riverbed at night. Can't make out any terrain whatsoever. Doesn't reliably detect heat.
@Jason Walen Are you serious dude? I literally just asked a simple question. 😐Since you’re so much smarter than me please explain what type of monocular and mount would be compatible with helmets. I was asking because some are hands only and some have slots to attach helmet mounts to. They didn’t show the actual monocular in the video which is why I asked…
I don't think it would be a very enjoyable experience. its more for spotting stuff than seeing where tf you are going. like looking at a bunch of ground with the same temp wont give you much depth perception. Oh, and that other guy who commented is a total c*nt
@@hudsonhayer9376 this thing I don’t got money for the 3 k ones it’s not horrible she works atn in my opinion is the worst thermal and I own both this and the scope
Underated review. Thank you for the clear and unbiased demonstration!

Great video I was thinking of buying it but after seen this video I definitely think it's not worth it and won't be buying it
Same, granted this looks like during the day because of how hot the ground is, but yea this just essentially looked like weak night vision

@@mattc6395I hope you figured it out. Whoever talked shit to you should go to hell 😊
dont.
My biggest question is how dark is it outside?
These units do not use or rely on light.
Надо было на разных палитрах тестировать
Looks terrible
What do you use?
