That was a very deep line considering Xehanorts goal in attempting to strike a balance between light and darkness only to of course be overcome by darkness.

and THAT....or something like that... is what this game should have been about. instead. we get basically an epilogue DDD and nothing else. not even a satisfying anyhtign from Xehanort. and hell..I thought all of that shit would be wrapped up like half way or 3/4 through the game with way more new story elements after. meh

@@magicbologna Jeez I agree with this so much. This cutscene, in my opinion, is one of the most genuine scenes in the game. Instead we just get Sora meandering from place to place.
Actually that's not true, as there was someone that did.
_[Sora and company wander into the dark corridor that Sarge mentioned in the Kid Korral vent, and they see Buzz trapped in darkness with Y. Xehanort in front of him.]_
Sora & Woody: Buzz!
Sora: Xehanort!
Woody: What do you want with my friend?
Y. Xehanort: Look, such tremendous darkness. All because he was ripped away from the boy who cared about him most.
Woody: Does that mean... we'll all be like Buzz...
_[Darkness seems to get a hold on Woody.]_
Woody: ...if we don't find Andy?
Sora: Wrong! Distance doesn't matter. Andy's become a part of their hearts, just like my friends are part of mine.
_[Donald and Goofy nod.]_
Sora: You can't rip that apart!
_[Woody sighs and picks up his shoe, seeing the word _*_ANDY_*_ on it as he looks at Buzz' shoe having the same word.]_
_[Darkness pushes Buzz away further.]_
Y. Xehanort: What? "Your friends are your power"? Ah... how very true. But if the light of friendship is a form of power... the darkness of being alone is a power even greater. Darkness is the heart's true nature.
_[Sora sighs in disbelief and Woody walks forwards, notioning Sora to stay back.]_
Woody: Whatever you're talking about, I don't care. Put Buzz back the way he was, then get lost!
Y. Xehanort: Or else what, toy?
Woody: Yeah. I am a toy. And a friend.
_[Woody steps on the darkness and it gives way, making light shun it out with each step Woody takes.]_
Woody: My guess is no one's ever loved you before. Because you don't know _anything_ about hearts and love.
_[Sora walks alongside Woody.]_
Sora: There are hearts all around us, trying to connect. Your "loneliness" only made Woody and Buzz's connection stronger. That's the heart's true nature-- to never, ever let go. Wherever they are, Andy and the other toys haven't let go either.
Woody: Yeah. You can't keep us from Andy. We're going home, no matter what. And taking Buzz!
_[Darkness tries to overwhelm the two, but their light is too strong as it just lingers away.]_
Sora: Xehanort, you're so caught up in finding the shadows, you forgot about the light that cast them.
_[Woody and Sora's light reaches all the way to Buzz, and Y. Xehanort is taken back.]_
Y. Xehanort: No!
_[Sora, Donald and Goofy charge at Xehanort, weapons at the ready and Xehanort summons his No Name Keyblade, warding off the three.]_
Sora: Woody, now!
_[Woody leaps up, using his string as a rope, which connects to a block hovering in the darkness. With one swing, Woody saves his friend from the darkness and lands on the ground with his string pulled.]_
Woody: Giddy up, partner! We gotta keep this wagon train-a moving!
_[Buzz wakes up to see his friend at his side, but doesn't remember being overcomed by darkness.]_
Buzz: Woody. Wait, how did I get here?
_[Woody wakes up, explaining what happened with a brief summary.]_
Woody: Oh, I don't know. Maybe somebody switched you into "dark and stormy" mode.
Buzz: But I don't have a--
_[Buzz then remembers attacking his own friends, and he is annoyed how he let his own emotions be taken over by darkness.]_
_[Woody helps his friend up.]_
Buzz: Thank you, Woody.
Woody: Good to have you back, Buzz.
Donald: Hey! What's the hold up?!
Goofy: We can't hold him for much longer!
Sora: Don't give up, guys!
_[Y. Xehanort succeeds in pushing the three away, learning a valuable lesson from their heroic act.]_
Y. Xehanort: One being's light can reach the darkness of another. I am going to have to remember that.
_[Buzz points his laser at Y. Xehanort, reminding him that he and the other toys can't be seperated from whatever he does.]_
Buzz: Remember this-- our hearts will always be connected to Andy's. No matter what you do.
Woody: And that's something you'll never understand, because you're hollower than any toy.
_[Y. Xehanort learns of something due to this act, that they can use a heart in a vessel that they choose.]_
Y. Xehanort: But now I know that a heart can be placed in the vessel of our choosing. For that, let me give you a parting gift to play with.
Sora: Wait!
_[Sora attempts to strike at Xehanort, but he says something that makes little to any sense and is the same thing Xigbar said to Sora in Olympus.]_
Y. Xehanort: Find the hearts joined to yours.
For some reason toy box story line along with this music made me think if what the birth by sleep trio went through and that no matter what they are still connected. Especially when buzz got controlled by a marionette heartless kind of like terra being controlled by xehanort. And aqua is woody being attracted by buzz and Andy is like ventus for buzz and woody connection. am i the only one here who see this parallel in the the game?
Omg I never realized that kind of parallel. Probably why they played this music too! This is practically the Wayfinder theme.
I feel like the implication here is IF sora wasn't here bbs was basically about to happen again. Its a great way to foreshadow to for the bbs trio in khiii. Sora couldn't be there to save them 10 years ago but he's here now

This theme fit so perfecting for the Wayfinder Trio, so this version of it for Woody & Buzz is just as fitting & well deserving of them! So happy to see how well they treated Toy Story in KH! Being Pixar’s first major franchise & being the first Pixar world in KH makes it all the more cherishable.
It was perfect IMO except they needed one of the villains. Zurg or Stinky Pete would have been great! They even could have done Lotso. KH3 fell short on the villains.
Ah yes, the scene where Sora and Woody roasted Young Xehanort

(( Ok! This has been in my mind for awhile after hearing this song so much! So, I'm doing my own scene with this song. I really want Paw Patrol to be a world in KH in the future. P.S. the villain in this is an OC of mine ))

*The group sees Jazzuan*
Axel: * growls* You!
Ryder: What do you want with our friend?!
Jazzuan: Just look, such a tremendous darkness in one little pup. All because he was ripped away from the very world he vowed to protect.
*Darkness began to surround them*
Marshall: Does that mean...?
Rocky: We're all going to end up like Chase?
Tracker: If we can't get back to Adventure Bay?
Pups: *whimpers*
Xion: No! You're wrong!
Roxas: She's right, you guys. Distance doesn't matter! Adventure Bay lives within your hearts, Chase's too. No matter where it is, their light will always lead them home.
Axel and Xion: Yeah!
*Ryder looked at his Paw Patrol badge, the pups looked at their pup-tags*
*Darkness engulfs Chase*

*Roxas goes to say something, but Ryder stops him and gets in front of the group*

*Ryder and the pups all walk forward in unison, Roxas, Xion and Axel walked beside them*
Roxas: There are hearts all around us, trying to connect.
Axel: You're loneliness only makes Ryder and the Paw Patrol's connection stronger.
Xion: And that's true teamwork, and their hearts' true nature; To never let go. No matter where Adventure Bay is, the light of their teamwork will help them find it again.
Everest: Yeah! You can't break OUR teamwork!
Tracker: Si!
Pups: Right!
Ryder: That's right. You can't break us apart. We're going home, no matter what! And taking Chase!
Roxas: Jazzuan, you and your group are so lost in the shadows, you forgot about the light that cast them.
*Somewhere, deep with the darkness, the lookout tower in Adventure Bay stood. The meteorite inside shined, a ray of light shot through the darkness! The light from the meteorite engulfed the Ryder and the pups. The pups turning into the Mighty Pups! The light eliminated the darkness, engulfing Chase, so he became a Mighty Pup!*
Jazzuan: No!
*Roxas, Axel and Xion charge at Jazzuan. Jazzuan summons his wizard's staff, blocking the Keyblade wielders' Keyblades*
Axel: Ryder, pups, NOW!
*Ryder and the Mighty Pups rush past them. Mighty Rubble lifts Ryder and launches him skyward towards Chase, Mighty Skye giving him an extra lift boost. When Ryder catches Chase, Mighty Everest made a large snow ramp to cushion the fall*
Jazzuan: Grrr!
*Chase wakes up, looking up at Ryder, then to the the other pups*
Chase: Ryder... Pups... Wait, how'd I get here?
Ryder: Oh, I don't know.
Rubble: Maybe you went all wild and grumpy pup mode.
Chase: What? But I don't get- *gasps, realizing what happened* Oh. *his ears flop down* Did I...? *they nod*
Skye: *nuzzles up to Chase*
Chase: *smiles* Thanks, guys.
Ryder: Good to have you back, Mighty Chase.
Axel: Yo! Mind speedin' it up over there!
Xion: We can't hold him back forever.
Roxas: Don't give up, guys!
* Jazzuan pushes the Keyblade wielders away, seeing he is now surrounded by Ryder and the Mighty Pups*
Jazzuan: So, even the littlest beings can have big hearts.
Chase: And remember this: Our hearts will always be connected to Adventure Bay. No matter what you do!
Ryder: And that's something you will never understand. Because your heart is foggier than Foggy Bottom.
I see you're a fan of this exact moment as well. Bro, this was by far the best moment I've witnessed in Kingdom Hearts III.

Woody: "Does that mean...we'll all end up like Buzz...if we don't...find Andy?"

(Woody gasps in realization of the bond he and Buzz formed with Andy)

(Sora then joins Woody in the approaching Xehanort) "There are Hearts all around us, trying to connect. Your "loneliness" only made Woody and Buzz's connection stronger. THAT'S the Heart's true nature....to never, ever let go. Wherever they are, Andy and the other toys haven't let go either."
Woody: "Yeah! you can't keep us from Andy. We're going home no matter what. And taking Buzz!"

(And with Sora's words, the Darkness finally broke around them)
Young Xehanort: "No!" (Sora, Donald, Goofy and Woody all charge at Xehanort and Xehanort blocks their attack, giving Woody the opportunity he needed to rescue Buzz) Sora: "Woody, now!" (Woody then leaps up and forward to use his voice box string to grab Buzz and rescue him) "GIDDY-UP PARTNER! WE GOTTA GET THIS WAGON TRAIN A-MOVIN'!"
Buzz Lightyear: "Woody...Wait, hoe did I get here?"
Woody: "Oh, I don't know! Maybe somebody switched you into "dark and stormy" mode."
Buzz Lightyear: "But I don't have a-"
(Woody helps Buzz to his feet and Buzz thanks him for rescuing him) Buzz Lightyear: "Thank you, Woody."

Donald Duck: "Hey, hurry up!" (Donald yells out at to pick up the pace as the trio's grip on pushing back Young Xehanort weakens) Goofy: "We can't hold him much longer!"

(Young Xehanort finally pushes them back as he realizes his plan fell apart) Young Xehanort: "So, even empty puppets can be given strong Hearts. I am going to have to remember that."
Buzz Lightyear: "Remember this....our Hearts will always be connected to Andy's. No matter what you do!"
Woody: "And that's something you'll never understand, because you're hollower than any toy."
Young Xehanort: "But now I know a Heart can be placed in a vessel Our choosing. For that, let me give you a parting gift to play with."
(Sora charges toward him) "Wait!" (Young Xehanort then vanishes saying his last words to Sora) "Find the Hearts joined to yours"
