Chinese Diesel Heater Installation In Vauxhall Vivaro Campervan Conversion

In this video I show how I install a Chinese diesel heater in my Vauxhall Vivaro campervan conversion (See links below for items used). The Chinese diesel heater installation is very straight forward if you don't mind cutting holes in the floor of your van. Once fitted, the Chinese diesel heater provides plenty of hot air to heat up the campervan conversion within minutes of running and can operate on a thermostat function the Chinese diesel heater can maintain a specific temperature in the van if required. Once fitted and tested, the Chinese diesel heater fires straight up after a fuel line purge and kicks out some lovely warm air for inside the van conversion.

Kudos. Added to a playlist on my channel. A minor point: the silencer should be vertical with the small hole at the bottom to drain away any condensation.

Great video I've recently found you and your conversions by mistake but love them. With reguards the tank if you turn it 90° clockwise from your mounting position. You could have your other fitting in that flat area at the bottom of the tank so you would still use all the fuel. Just a suggestion. Keep up the cracking work!

I like the fuel line into top of the tank idea. But how did you waterproof/fill the exposed hole you made for the pipes underneath the van?

paint the hole so it doesn't rust, thats all thats needed, there is a metal plate the heater secured down to which seals the hole from the inside
