    1. No maid service & I clean my house with white vinegar & baking soda
    2. We don’t have a trash service & take it ourselves to landfill
    3. Rarely eat out & cook dinners for the week on Sundays
    4. Never buy retail furniture & just scored a free (jaw droppingly gorgeous!!) sofa on Craigslist
    5. Coffee shop coffee is for special occasions only & make daily coffee at home
    6. Never have a car payment & buy cars with cash only. A few years ago I needed a “new” car & bought a 1986 Subaru from Craigslist because it fit in my budget.
    7. Save all metal scraps & sell to scrapyard
    8. “Shop” in my pantry first when meal planning
    9. Sell clutter on Craigslist, eBay, Amazon & flea markets. We paid a bunch of our son’s tuition from doing this.
10.We started vacationing locally, have discovered our own state & listen to audio books from our library while we are road tripping.

I used to love going to coffee shops, but sometimes I couldn't afford it. So I would just hang in there asking for water cups lol

Traveling on credit card points is so smart! I use credit cards for the cash back and have managed to rack up hundreds this year and it’s great hahah

After quitting the gym, the coffee shop was my walking destination. That changed in 2020, instead I have a favorite monument as a point to go to.
I am benefiting from shopping online now. I add to my cart a couple days before the pickup, then review and trim it back before finalizing my purchase. The goal is to keep the total amount within a reasonable price range.
Have been donating my travel points to a veterans group.
Watering down Dr Bronners soap. Can use it for washing hands, dishes, floors, hand laundry, and combine it with baking soda for hard to clean pots or surfaces. Keep in mind the watered down version can spoil if kept for a long time.
Fabrics make simple throws. Sometimes cheaper to buy them.
Coconut oil makes a very good lotion. It has helped heal chapped lips and dry heels. A very small dab goes a long way.
Would love to see a video of the home hair coloring, what products do you recommend, etc. For cutting hair, I purchased a Wahl hair clipper ages ago. It had two settings, and it has saved me so much, so easy to use. I wipe it down after each use, there is a small brush to brush away the hair bits too.

Enjoy your videos. It seems like you've done something with shelf. The box fits better. I love it.
