Cream’s costume is so cute, Shadow is the perfect babysitter for cream.
I wish that this relationship with Shadow and Cream was canon since it would work to further make Shadow a foil to Sonic since they would both be older brother figures, the difference would be in how they are as older brothers. Sonic is the carefree older brother who wears his feelings on his sleeve. While Shadow is the quiet, brooding older brother who comes off as aggressive but actually would utterly annihilate anything that harmed his younger siblings. The relationships are notably different, but the goldmine of writing potential with that dynamic (as depicted here and in other videos) would be something worthwhile. Even more interesting would be Shadow and Vanilla’s dynamic since it could open up a mother-son relationship he never got to really experience.
Since I doubt we are going to get any shortage of the angsty edge lord characters being paired with the saccharinely sweet characters in current media anytime soon. Sega might as well jump on the bandwagon now rather than later.

I always saw Shadow as more of a Big Brother to Cream, and I agree, I think that their platonic dynamic should be canon!
I guess having Cream get more candy for Halloween is another reason why Shadow's the number 1 babysitter for Cream, lol

Also, if I'm being honest, the belt around Cream's angel robe looks like a Karate obi, in my eyes. Just think: A Karate Angel... That's the cutest thing ever! X3
To be fair, Mighty didn't have a game for a long time after Knuckles Chaotix, and if we consider how the dimension system from Sonic Generations, Mania, and Forces works, a younger, alternate version of himself got the spotlight instead of him.
