    After some time in physical therapy, I've learned the value of engaging the core properly, i.e. the Transverse Abdominis. I think this is lost on athletes at all levels, because it is not often understood or taught. A proper strong core that matches your activity level will aid in injury prevention and reduce wear and tear on the joints, especially as we age.
