I love videos like this. I love to fix broken things. Makes for A challenge at times but the results are worth it

Thanks for sharing Ezekiel. I just picked up a 1956 F.E. Olds Ambassador from a local thrift store here in Boise, Idaho. My daughter is going into fourth grade and wants to play trumpet. Ours is roughly in the same condition as your example in this video. I really appreciate you detailing the steps of cleaning and conditioning.

Hello, I am following your videos with interest and admiration. At 2.35 minutes, you say that you could check some of the compression, could you tell me how to do it? Thank you

Thank you! I did an initial check by pulling the slide to hear a "pop", but I also sealed up the other parts of the horn and blew air through to see if I could feel any leaks. They make a machine for this, but I do not have one yet.

Sorry, but looking at your video after after watching the videos of Wes Lee, I can only say that the new generations are far inferior to the previous ones. when you said that "those bends will remain because you don't have the tool", then I understood that your quality standards are quite low. yes it does not affect the functionality, but a beautifully restored tool pleases your eyes.
