Sad - if he just led a regular clean athletic life 2.0 like most professionals do, he would win the Golden Ball at least few times in his career. If he did some sort of rigorous training program 4.0 every day like Cristiano Ronaldo or Michael Jordan did, he would perhaps be the best player of all time. Scary - even with all his shenanigans, booze, cigarettes and nightlife, he was still officially proclaimed by FIFA as the best young player U-21 in the world in 1987 and voted the best young player in the world of the World Cup 1990 in Italy (just like Mbappe was voted the best young player of the last WC in Russia). So, he did win a JV Golden Ball I guess... lol. In any case, the whole point of this is to show how fucking good this guy was that even with zero discipline and complete opposite of professional athletic lifestyle he was still one of the best players in the world who won numerous trophies both individual and team ones. Unbelievable talent and unbelievable waste of a talent, too.
