Very helpful! Your PMP book by process group is great and refers to PMBOK perfectly.
Thank you.
This was so helpful!!! Thank you.
Thank you Aileen, it was a good suggestion
Great question and answer.
Correct me if I'm wrong, as you said best things to prepare for PMP exam is to reas and understand and practices based on Process group, on other hand Knowledge areas for CAPM exam.
Yes your understanding is correct. If I was preparing for the PMP Exam I would study by knowledge area. Most of the questions on the PMP Exam are situational based and therefore we need to truly understand the flow of the processes and the interconnection of the processes. I would recommend the book: PMP Exam Simplified Updated for the 2016 Exam. www.amazon.com/PMP%C2%AE-Exam-Simplified-Updated-2016/dp/1522989447/ref=zg_bs_377568011_2
If studying for the CAPM Exam I would study by knowledge area though it really does not matter. The CAPM focuses very much on inputs, tools and techniques and outputs. The more we can understand these (and not just memorize them) the better off we are. I would recommend the book: www.amazon.com/CAPM%C2%AE-Exam-Simplified-Aligned-PMBOK/dp/1514307790/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1471804058&sr=1-1&keywords=capm+exam+aileen+ellis
Let me know if I have answered your questions. Good luck on your exam. Aileen

Wish I had found this a year ago! lol - just bought the book.
You are welcome.
So for the CAPM you should mainly focus on ITTO and the knowledge areas?
Yes. Also understand earned value and the critical path method. May sure you also study the early chapters.
Hi I have sent a FB request to get added to the grp. Please accept.
We have accepted your request.
