2019 Ford Ranger failed to start two days ago. Turned the key and nothing no faults just no start. Tried a jump thinking it was the battery but still no start. Had it towed to dealer and magically started up for them. Now I have something to troubleshoot if it happens again cheers and thanks for the very informative video.
So i had this problem and used this vid to troubleshoot. when i jumpered the contacts on the starter relay as discribed it clicked a couple times and then turned over. after that it would start. So the realy is good and all fuses work. would that be the starter solenoid then?
Yo!!!!! Holy LUV lol sorry little hyped up , I drive my ranger ALOT for work and shit got a signal “charging system fault” … then having issue with it starting, sounding like if the battery was dead …. And duxking shit this video fixed my prob !!! Saved myself couple hundred dollars from having to take it in. Thanks my man!
This video literally just saved us as we are traveling in the middle of outback Australia! Question- I swapped the starter relay with the one below and yay it started! What do I do now? Buy and replace with a new one? Will there be any effect on the one I replaced with, the blower motor relay?
Hi, i have a 2015 xlt ford ranger, I plugged my sons playstation 4, it was working for 5min and then we could smell plastic smoke. Since then, my side mirrors and console 240v plug aren't working. Any help
My 02 Ranger xlt does no start(no crank), plenty of battery juices. This happened after I installed led bulbs and turned on the headlights(for testing) while the engine was off. Any advice is appreciated.

I do all thats you show, but still not crank, and malfunctions show on dashboard
