One of my dad's favorite bands. I remember when I was little he would play the guitar and sing this song to me and my sisters. Brings back good memories!! Love u K!!❤
Back in the day when this was hot for some reason Kansas NEVER played in Nebraska. I lived there so a buddy and I had to go to Red Rocks, CO (God's Cathedral). Very well worth the trip and a nice ride on a couple of Harleys with our girls. 600 miles round trip with roughly $1.00 gas. Hell yeah.😎😎😎😎 I've seen them since then with the new band members in Reno (former Harrah's outdoor venue) Still killin' it. I still have this LP./Album. "Carry on Wayward Sun". "Point of Know Return". "All your money won't another minute buy".
I enjoy seeing you discover some of my all-time favorites. “Jaded” by Spiritbox was just nominated for a Grammy and Courtney’s vocals are incredible. Alice In Chains was once my favorite band, but Spiritbox is on some different stuff for 2024. Courtney would probably love your reaction too!
Ha ha Sweet Lady. Not gonna Believe it.. but YES. I'm in Kansas right now.... And Yes. Kansas used. To play here often. That is Western Kansas... They even played at my ex- girlfriend's grandmother's resort place back in the 70's... Cause we just DUST IN THE WIND HONEY....😂😂😂😮
What a great song and while I never knew the personally, the band was from about 30 minutes away from me and a bit older than me when I was young, but this was the music of my junior high years. First girlfriend and friends and just having a good time and doing all the stuff. 60 year old white dude from Kansas here but your reactions 100% crack me up ❤
Many in the generations after us pay way too much attention on " outward appearance," a feature that actually means nothing. Some of the greatest books have crappy covers. Can't make music like this without something deep spinning around in the body. Nice reaction. You do well listening to the messages. Although we may just be " dust," the wind can be very very powerful. All storms have wind. Gen X is and still is, " a forceful wind to not be reckoned with."
One of my favorite voices from that era is Paul Rodgers from the band Free and Bad Company. If you haven’t heard Bad Company “Feel like making love” you should listen to it. It’s responsible for a whole lot of hickies 😂
One of the best classic rock songs ever. I love Kansas, Styx, Boston , and The Moody Blues. Love your reaction ❤
THANK U
I saw them in '82 and they brought me on stage. Love them! This is the 1st song I ever performed.

If ever there was a song that's the meaning of life........Ain't none of us getting out of here alive, and all we are is dust in the wind!
The two bands with the deepest lyrics on the planet PINK FLOYD AND KANSAS.

This song reminds me of the music video / song "Everything Dies" by Type O Negative. Maybe you might like to react to that video?
