Though if you and the truck yesterday. Was running around town and saw a G1 lightning. It was beautiful. White and sharp. Looked pretty stock less the rear roll pan. 🌩 ⚡️💪🏻

I ain't gonna lie. This truck has a lot of potential and it just deserves a lot more prep before you paint it. Especially considering your using top shelve paint and clear. It would be a shame to not make it as best as you can. I would especially considering your access to your dad who an actual painter and your paint booth and equipment. I love your channel but it just seems your short changing this truck. Anyways I'm always a fan,I'm sure it will look good when your done regardless.
Don’t mistake my “it’s not going to be a show truck “ comments for a half ass job. That’s my way of letting you know to not expect perfection. I always go above and beyond what I say in the videos as to not get anyone’s hopes up. It’s hard being on RUclips and showing your work to the world. you learn real quick what you can and can’t say as some of it brings very high expectations with it.

For all those wanting that pad. When u go to Pain Supply Store. The technical name is called a Interface Pad. They are valuable! Please get one! Just know the size of ur DA or Rotary. With in doubt..... take tool to store! Im a professional cut and buffer.
PSA. A screw with a sharp point is a self tapping screw. As in it self taps the threads when you install it. A screw with a drill bit type tip on it is a self drilling screw. Facts. Lol
I would love to have a hood for my stepside/flareside 2009 like yours or similar. I prefer good used because I have a low budget . I'm from Canada . Any lines on any ?😊
Off topic question, what direct bolt on heat extractor good would you recommend for a sn95 mustang gt? Thanks for any input, looking forward to the lightning project btw!
DIY paint booth: enough pvc pipe to box in a vehicle plus few feet on each side for you Clear plastic roll to cover Duct tape to tape it Square box fan. Cut out wall to fit fan blowing air inside booth. Tape around it to secure home ac filter. Cut out opposite side place filter and tape it. Now you should have a bug free somewhat pressurized booth.
You can also get an orbital adapter for a small 4 1/2" grinder too. s.12ab.pw/l/bbb8 Also, you can use magnets to provide some pressure when using double adhesive tape to install panels if you're installing to a metal part of the vehicle. I just use old speaker magnets.
