Here’s a detailed that most people didn’t notice. After the destruction of the crystal that controlled Shimo Skar kings eyes change from blue to an orange or yellow. You can notice this detail after Shimo froze Skar king.

So, I thought of a video you could have them react to that will explain why Shimo and Kong have a strong connection with each other. The video is called “Why Shimo is ONLY loyal to Kong” made by “The Marvelous Wave”. It gives a very good explanation to why they have a strong bond together. Obviously it’s your choice to have them react to it, but I think you could make a good reaction to it.
