- This is a simple and quick craft for your pencil case. If you spray the pencils with clear acrylic or coat them in clear nail varnish it will seal them so that you can write with them without the glitter going everywhere, these pencils will sure to look great in any bedroom!

FAQ: Can you sharpen these pencils?
Yes you can! Just use a good quality, sharp enclosed sharpener to catch the glitter fallout. The more clear acrylic spray coating or clear nail varnish you use to seal the glitter on the pencils, the less glitter fallout you will have!

i did try it but i did put on the pencil clear nail varnish and it was way better so that the glitter wont come out to your hands and on your pencil case i do recommend that ;)

I love the pencil an the process to coat it. I remember in public school me holding one or two they also have them in Walmart or any store that holds paper or art an craft things markers too.

you could also take the 2 colors next to each other mix them together and apply inbetween so that it blends

Fantastic! Wait until the glue dries and then apply the clear coat on top and let that dry very well (around 24 hours) or they will be sticky, make sure to use an old brush to apply the clear coating or you'll spread glitter into your nail polish bottle, if you have Facebook send me a picture when they're dry I'd love to see what you've done! :)

very cool idea!, I did it once (before watching your video) with my pens, and it worked really well, (I still use them xD) everyone at school (of course back in elementary) were like "whoa! where did you got them from?" and this video made me remember my childhood :)

Yes, just make sure you don't apply a coat that is too thick or with too much force so that it scrapes the glitter off as mod podge is much thicker than nail varnish, good luck I hope it works for you! :)

Yes you can use Mod Podge, however it will be thicker and stickier than nail varnish so make sure you let the pencils dry very well, thank you for your comment, send me a picture when you're done! :)

Yes, however I suggest using a few coats of glitter glue to intensify the glitter and possibly compacting dry glitter on top if there are clear spaces. Don't forget to seal the pencils with clear varnish! :)

Thanks for subscribing! Do you mean to say a pencil with an eraser on top? If so then sure! All you need to do is cover the top of the eraser with some tape to avoid spoiling it with glitter! :)

Hi. I sprayed clear lacquer on the pencils and they sharpen with a normal pencil sharpener.

Yes I think you can, just make sure to coat them in clear acrylic so you don't get too much glitter fall out! :)

I used ultra-fine glitter, but unfortunately I don't know the brand name or where I got it from as it was quite a while back but I do know that you can find glitter online at eBay or at your local craft supplier/scrap-booking store. Thanks for watching! :)
You could try but it probably wouldn't work as well, perhaps instead you could watch my 'DIY Decorative Spiral Knot Pen Craft' video which tells you an alternate way to decorate your pens and pencils, thanks for watching! :)
