An in-depth look at using Lobe-Profile simulation modeling. This second video on Profiles shows how to optimize timing when using Lobe-Profile modeling and introduces the powerful Iterator tool in our engine simulation software. Includes Lobe-Profile Tips and Tricks from the Pros and a Guest Video about Bore and Stroke ratios for optimum performance.

So when comparing hydraulic flat tappet to hydraulic roller cams with the same lift/duration specs is it better to not use the 10 point modeling as the roller has more high lift duration (0.200"+ lift range) and hence more area under the curve that 10 point modeling won't see ?
To more accurately model a roller lobe would you not need 7 instead of 5 profiling points ?
I bring this point up because i find that when modeling and comparing similarly spec'd flat tappets and rollers the rollers don't make any more power and that just seems counter intuitive to me , Please Explain how best to compare flat tappets and rollers . thank you

I've tried to contact you via e-mail several times and gotten no reply, with questions about engine parameter options for the Classic Mini/Midget 1275cc. *siamese intake/exhaust ports, twin SU carbs, etc.

How do we get this? I have a old 2000 I like to use on my old windows 98 . Still works! This is the only thing that I have it for. I have a Mac now. Is there any way could get a new one for it? You have a lot of new stuff in this compared to my old 2000.

You can find more about the software at www.motionsoftware.com. Our latest version six simulations require Windows 7 or later. Thank you very much for watching the video and for using our old Dyno2000!
