Deathly Hallows NY premiere - Interviews with the Crew

MuggleNet was at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 in New York City. We did not have the opportunity to speak with the cast (though we conducted several interviews a few days beforehand with them at the press junket). to all those people saying "david yates is the best HP director" let me tell you that alfronso cuaron was the BEST FUCKING hp director ever. Prisoner of Azkaban was fucking amazing and it was very true to the books. The films which yates directed had bland characterisation

I really hope we get to see all the deleted scenes on the DVD this time. In the previous hp DVDs we didn't get to see all the deleted scenes they shot.

I love hearing David Yates talk about the movies because its obvious how much passion he has for what he's doing and how badly he wants to get it right. Though you may question some of his stylistic choices, there's no denying that he works is arse off.
Personally, I thought DHP1 was brilliant. They nailed the tone of the film perfectly.

Part 1 was great but I did expect it to be a little better. Don't get me wrong though, I loved it and it's my favorite so far. I will miss seeing the trio together. They did great performances.

I really really hope they re-shoot parts of the epilogue, If the director is unsure that makes me a bit worried. Great interviews though, thanks!

i really hate half blood prince, so i was very skeptical about this one, but the 2 movie split had really help them, is a very nice movie

Half-Blood Prince was too Brown? What are the suits doing telling the film makers what to do. It was a fantastic looking movie!

, i think david yates is the best director the series has had, the others were fantastic but david just raised the game, cant belive it's 7 months till the next, far too long, and it doesn't need to be that long, they shoudl of just let part 1, run it's time in the cinema till feburary/march then once they take it out, and release the dvd, part 2 is in the cinema, so people are buying dvd, watching then they buying a cinema ticket to see part 2, huge boost in sales.
