The greatest HSV ever made, in my humble opinion. Not necessarily the best they ever made, but it was peak Aussie made muscle and perfectly captured the times. It looks just as good today and sounds even better.
this is my dream car mate ive seen hundreds of videos regarding the cars you build and my only hope is that your still doing this sorta work when i can afford it
hi there, whats involved getting the vortech supercharger passed here in south australia do you need to get the car engineered with the mod plate thanks jos
GDay Mark whats doin bloke?Ive got to say that i really enjoy the uploads you've posted so far mate? You go over everything thats been done to the cars in detail but you dont drag it out n talk about 1 thing for 4-5minz like some blokes do.Man your engine bay work n how the donks fit perfectly with a charger on em is awesome and its all so neat and well done as with the exhaust system its good to see some1 who really takes care of HIS clients cars n makes them beasts n with that sleeper look. WELL DONE MARK100%?Ive got a vh sle with most of the 1st mods you would get done when doing up a car?Its still got the old 253ci in it which is a great little donk for the street but i want to step up to a ls1 but not boosted that will come later and mark when i can afford to bring my baby to MWS in the near future for some work! that will blow me away knowing im getting the beast blokes to work on my baby.Man i love your work and you sound like a nice bloke too! BTW No homo lol Cheers mate and sorry about the long comment.
running basically the same set up with a off the shelf 4619 crow cam but come 690s 5002s/2x3" Active Twin/ Redline Hi-Winder and Ttrim...The Harrop worries me at that output especially with the Magnum T56...
Marks .Workshop . Yes looking at the COME steel atm and just getting them to balance inhouse before delivery using the bobweight info from the Harrop balancing and use the Harrop in the stock engine that im looking at keeping aside when or if i decide to reassemble a VPSS as standard again. Problem is I'm doing it all in a double garage and keeping everything clean on assembly is extremely difficult. On Disability Carers pension looking after the wife after a brain injury and at 46yo now so progress has now slowed. ..alot...but just plugging away at it
Just purely out of interest, what was the rough build cost to get it up to where it is there? Absolute beast of a car. I like what you did with the bonnet.
Very cool clean job. Excuse my ignorance though just wondering why is the oil cooler mounted under the car? I realize for cooling but wouldn't it take damage there as apposed to behind the front bumper?

Yes I would suggest running a better crank than the Harrop
