I only became aware of this brilliant band through downloading NAPALM DEATHs covers album Leaders Not Followers volumes 1& 2 plus a playlist that featured all the originals. I did not expect this lot to be as good as they are. Being more of a punk hardcore head than a metal head the cover of Nocturnal Hell Surrender or Die LP won me over but then I heard the music...wow. They are indeed old school thrash metal but have lots of punk crossover appeal & in this day & age when it's so easy to find even the most obscure stuff from way back SLAUGHTER were a genuine surprise package. I like the idea of them not having released much & thanks to NAPALM DEATH I've got a new favourite band.
I instantly recognized the tone of the HM-2 pedal after listening to this song again. I have one and it is pretty killer, it is like making your amp sound like a buzzsaw out of hell.
I have the Metal Mind reissue of this and every single song (studio, cover, live) kick so much ass!! This album is by far one of my favorite death/thrash albums from the 80's...and that's saying a lot cause I love all the 80's death and thrash \m/
@0evildead "Strappado is a form of torture in which the victim's hands are first tied behind their back, and then he or she is suspended in the air by means of a rope attached to wrists, which most likely dislocates both arms. Make way for the Incinerator... In suits they were dressed, when the button was pressed They fed upon semen, the government’s a demon They left us bleeding and sore In the hands of the incinerator In the bible we looked while our cities all cooked The mutants didn't learn, towards Satan they turned While the wind ripped and tore from the wrath of the incinerator Incinerator - wood for a feast Incinerator - when you expect it least Incinerator - didn't learn from the past Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast And now the molds cast from mistakes of the past We're all melting in a hot cauldron of sin And through all his blood and gore comes the incinerator Incinerator - wood for a feast Incinerator - when you expect it least Incinerator - didn't learn from the past Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast In suits they were dressed, when the button was pressed They fed upon semen, the government’s a demon They left us bleeding and sore In the hands of the incinerator Incinerator - wood for a feast Incinerator - when you expect it least Incinerator - didn't learn from the past Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast

if it wasnt for bands like this back in the day we wouldnt have modern day extreme metal and prob half the stuff you listen to, thats even if you listen to punk,metal or hardcore
@CodyRicheson Actually, they had broken up by the time Mark Slaughter started his band. The thrash band slaughter only got back together one more time after this, to record a track for the Celtic Frost tribute album
@KissMeImPunk Once again, you misinterpreted what I said. I never said they weren't, I'm just saying Germany and Brazil have a better thrash scene than any other country.
Every time I try to play this vid, I keep getting footage of old men in make-up going through the motions... Oh, right. It's KISS. Suffice to say, this is much better.
I like Pantera. I also like Slaughter and a metric shit-ton of other OSDM,grindcore, thrash, classic metal etc.,etc.,etc. Am I still a poser. Im being honest, and not posteuring (unlike some of us). And isnt one who poses or posteurs a poser? Dont much give a fuck anyway.
Hey, this isn,t like, 18 And Life with the cute lead singer, what the hell? Haha, just kidding, fuck those guys. This is alright, singer reminds me of the guy from DRI. Check out Razor,s cross me fool for good Canadian thrash.
It's hard to believe that an album as perfect as this is so difficult to purchase.
How come?
I own the original press with the phone number carved into the middle. Seek and you shall find but it costs a pretty penny lol
It's always available
Classic and Timeless aggression. Bow to legendary death/thrash master SLAUGHTER.
This is straight-up early Death Metal!
Awesome song! Very punk influenced

i love the sound of old thrash metal
Actually, here was used the famous BOSS HM-2 Heavy Metal Pedal later captured by Swedish Death Metal Bands (Nihilist, Dismember, Entombed,...)
I instantly recognized the tone of the HM-2 pedal after listening to this song again. I have one and it is pretty killer, it is like making your amp sound like a buzzsaw out of hell.
Anybody with ears and half a brain can tell this is an HM-2
MAKE WAY FOR THE INCINERATOR!
Agreed, Infernal Majesty's None Shall Defy is another Canadian thrash gem.
I just ordered a sweet-ass Slaughter patch from Hell's Headbangers.
I cant WAIT till it comes!
LONG LIVE CANADIAN THRASH!!!

Canadian Thrash Metal at its best! 🇨🇦
Classic.. Timeless!
The thrash / hardcore scene in T.O. in the eighties was second to none. Slaughter, Sacrifice, Random Killing, BFG, to name a few.
USA is the birthplace for some of the more influential thrash bands. But yea, the German and the Brazil scene leaves the American scene in the dust!
They are from Canada
man i miss the 1980,great music,and great hashish !!
UP ALL NIGHT! SLEEP ALL DAY!
I don't why this song makes me laugh it's a classic for sure
Love this song
Great!!
THIS ist the ORIGINAL!!
Greets from Germany
the voice was awesome !!!
MAKE WAY FOR THE INCINERATÖR!!!!!
The REAL fucking Slaughter
Make way for the Incinerator...
In suits they were dressed, when the button was pressed
They fed upon semen, the government’s a demon
They left us bleeding and sore
In the hands of the incinerator
In the bible we looked while our cities all cooked
The mutants didn't learn, towards Satan they turned
While the wind ripped and tore from the wrath of the incinerator
Incinerator - wood for a feast
Incinerator - when you expect it least
Incinerator - didn't learn from the past
Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast
And now the molds cast from mistakes of the past
We're all melting in a hot cauldron of sin
And through all his blood and gore comes the incinerator
Incinerator - wood for a feast
Incinerator - when you expect it least
Incinerator - didn't learn from the past
Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast
In suits they were dressed, when the button was pressed
They fed upon semen, the government’s a demon
They left us bleeding and sore
In the hands of the incinerator
Incinerator - wood for a feast
Incinerator - when you expect it least
Incinerator - didn't learn from the past
Incinerator - to nuclear war we're cast
Clásico y sorprendente trabajo
great song.
One of the best album ever...
the originators of the swedish guitar sound.
Should it still be called the Swedish sound, if it was created in Toronto Canada?
englundisgod
a little late to change it now. no other bands from T.O. had a sound like that anyways. Slaughter was one of a kind.
Chris Garvin One of a kind alright, too bad the swedes stole all the credit
I think the originators of the "swedish sound" are Sepultura, just listen the song Necromancer... Wherever was invented it certainly gives brutalness
not even close

@KissMeImPunk
I have. I've heard pretty much all the thrash bands the US to offer.
G.O.A.T.
@filthydavid you should check out Demolition Hammer if you haven't already. their album Epidemic of Violence is insane
@CodyRicheson
Actually, they had broken up by the time Mark Slaughter started his band. The thrash band slaughter only got back together one more time after this, to record a track for the Celtic Frost tribute album
SHHHHlaughtaaaaH!
What else can be said......
@corybiro heh we played at the legion hall in Brantford , that town fucking rocked for partying
@Frostbittenband No, is from the people that thought that it was the other slaughter.
time for some big time HeadBangin'
Metall clasic
@LTBiermacht
whats wrong with the power metal release?
FUCKING SLAUGHTER!!!!
Fuckin' ace.
@KissMeImPunk
I didn't say they did, but most American thrash bands sound a lot like the big four. Especially the bay area bands.
Incinerator makes me wanna 2-step all the way thru lol
@ThazuaBlackarrow well said. slaughter is real metal.
It's re issued on vinyl now
Fuck Yeahhhh!!
Fuck yeah
RIP Brian.
sounds similar to Assassin!
this is Canadian? sick
1987
@Destapadore42009 hey pantera WAS a glam band
No, Napalm Death cover it.
Have the original.vinyl
@Frostbittenband Or maybe they thought it was the Hard/Glam band and got scared when they knew the real meaning of the name Slaughter!
@KissMeImPunk
Once again, you misinterpreted what I said. I never said they weren't, I'm just saying Germany and Brazil have a better thrash scene than any other country.
@PagesInBlood XD!!!
Every time I try to play this vid, I keep getting footage of old men in make-up going through the motions... Oh, right. It's KISS.
Suffice to say, this is much better.
@KissMeImPunk
German thrash/Brazilian thrash is the best.
Is it me or does Disintegrator sound a little bit like Demented Aggression by Cannibal Corpse?
Anthony Alvaladero well theyre mostly using one note
@@bangasou12 3 notes
@Frostbittenband I laughed.
i always thought incinerator was of napalm death... xD
@LTBiermacht
matter of opinions........
A great napalm death cover 🤪
can anyone tell me what the fuck is a strappado?
@KissMeImPunk
Listen to bay area thrash. ??? PROFIT
@Destapadore42009, the thing that isn't funny is that they forced the Canadian Slaughter to change their name.
You must, you must, surrender or die.
@cubeyz guilt parade/sudden impact/overthrow/sons of ishmael/NFB/hype/negative gain,,,im from brantford
I like the version from the Surrender or Die demo better. More Chainsaw.
@UnforgivenXIII
Fail troll is fail.
@KissMeImPunk
Not really US, too many "meh" bands pretending to be Metallica or Megadeth.
vocals could be better... but who cares its fkn awesome
@wrathshit760 yeah Diamond Darrell was heavy n br00tal
@eraseragenda
Neither S.D.I. nor Vectom sound like Metallica.
@franzzzle
Pantera "Power Metal" is sick
and they are NOT nu metal.........
Hey, this isn,t like, 18 And Life with the cute lead singer, what the hell? Haha, just kidding, fuck those guys. This is alright, singer reminds me of the guy from DRI. Check out Razor,s cross me fool for good Canadian thrash.
That's Skid Row. Up All Night is the other Slaughter.
@UnforgivenXIII It's too bad you couldn't appreciate real metal. Metal was never meant to sound nice. It was supposed to be gritty, ugly, and bad ass.
Napalm death's cover of this brought me here....not impressed
Go listen to some pigs, this puto the shit out of napalm death before yo create thein own shit
MAKE WAY FOR THE INCINERATOR!
