That one and only "woop!" at 1:27 right? Yeah, it really has a last second, unexpected exclamation kinda thing going at 1:26. That expression he has really cracks me up with hilarity as well.
if you mean 'weird' in exactly the same genre-following burning-man-ish weird of literally hundreds of thousands of ppl that know how to follow a trend
@@rickdeckard1075 true, but take into account a global context. I'm from Toronto, Canada, and while like any city there is a punk "scene", it certainly is weird and small, and really not common. As opposed to California which has a much stronger indie rock tradition embedded into its culture
@@bandshite8468 i said, they are "weird and cool" in a style that millions of other US "indie" groups are. How large your Toronto punk scene is, is not related to my statement.
@@rickdeckard1075 well it does have to do with your statement because the implication was that it was not really weird since many people engage in this type.of "weird" culture. My point is that those people arent very common here in Canada.
As a drummer i ask myself that too. No one gives the dude hype and it sounds "easy" but his playing seriously still amazes me. I think it just goes back to their punk rock roots, their dad was apparently very big into 80's hardcore and he probably just started on that when he first got his kit, its in his blood.
I play guitar, never had an interest in playing drums but holy F does he make me wanna start. I love the hyperactivity of his playing and he doesn't sound sloppy.
they are right about the garden being everything, it's demented, funny, jarring, controversial, and powerful. It's dark and happy. and everything in between
@@morioh6505I love this so much because I grew up with my dad blasting Lightning Bolt (I still do) and here I am with the garden being my favorite band lol. 💓💓
I'm a new fan too and I'm so happy I found them cuz I'm tired of all the same cookie cutter main stream crap these days. Theirs no more creativity in main stream music these days but these guys got it
I recently lost a good friend of mine who was the biggest Garden fan. We saw then in Denver a few years ago, and I swear 10k views on this video have been from him. RIP James Concha
So they were featured on an Ultimate Guitar article and I watched the RUclips link not knowing what to expect and now I've had this song stuck in my head for 24 hours and they're my new listening craze.
That "woop" was so tight
had the juggalos going "yes, and?.."

Woop 8C
*WOOP*
when i listen to the album version my brain always puts the woop there
Lyrics:
We'll knock the other ones out
We're Crystal Clear We're Crystal Clear!
W O O P
We're crisovivovivoveh
Haha love this comment. 😅
They are like a high addictive drug. You listen once the song and then repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat........
+Carlota Antolin Vallespin so true
That's exactly what I am doing right now ✌
x2
That smile.. that damn smile
I knowwwwwww
THE FACES THEY MAKE WHILE PLAYING SO QUICKLY WHAT IS THIS
They're the epitome of cool: a couple of twin weirdos that aren't afraid to be themselves or have fun. bless them

"How many times have you listened to this?" "yes."
"Woop!" Is permanently engraved in my brain and I truly don't mind.
Where did Fletcher learn to drum so fast? His wrists must be insane. I bet the man has mad chops. For a punk he's a fantastic player.
@@ddashiell8336 fletcher plays drums wyatt bass. technically they both used to play drums.
You say that as if punk music isn’t known for fast paced drums
For a punk? All punks play this faster and faster

I wouldn't ever really call them "sad," though.

Haven't heard these guys but this sounds good and their style is legit.
Him smiling weirdly is so grungy.

HOW DOES FLETCHER DO IT
he just grabs the drumsticks and hits them on the drums
Idk dude but that man is perfection
He's got hair.
As a drummer Imma say it. He's good but its not mind blowing. but sonically I'm super intrigued and im on a Garden rabbit hole
SoundCzech I couldn’t of said this better myself! I love the garden and Fletcher is great but as an experienced drummer I could also play this
ugh i’m just in love w them. their aesthetic, their sound, style, energies... dude everything. still bummed can’t see em in atlanta now :(

Josh McQ in the fucking garden!
Ironically The Garden consists of DRUMS and BASS. Not guitar.

Such a short song, but this is a radge live performance! Love it. Big energy!
Hmm, perhaps one of the best 2 and a half minute performances ever.
Fletchers drumming faces are the best
one of my favourite songs
the first time i saw them perform live, opening for the growlers in 2014, was wild and they did some gnarly acrobatics on stage lmao guuUuuuD times
Damn graden and growlers that would have been sick
loving the bass
Headphones and loud volume to really capture the quality
Getting Devo vibes from that dudes voice
I knew the singing reminded me of something!
Its fuckin devo mate
there’s a video where he’s wearing a devo shirt so i’m guessing they’re somewhat of an influence
I never made that connection but he totally sounds like young mark mothersbaugh
