dianne, I would be careful about using diatomaceous earth, as there isn't any scientific proof that DE works for deworming animals. The studies that have been done show that it has no effect on intestinal worm.
Why are you deworming your horse when he/she does not need it? These are very harsh chemicals. How do you know if your horse does not need the dewormer? You do a fecal exam.
+sonseere10 I deworm at every change of season.....works the best for me....I have over 100 head of horses....if you only have a couple it is best to do fecal check befor you deworm..agreed..Thx Ted

your dewormer will say on the label if it gets Tapes.....they are the more expensive ones.....Quest is a good one
