A shame for those speakers, as they can sound extremely realistic with a rly deep bass with the right elecronic, like Pilium. If someone recommends Mcintrash it is because that person really has not scratched the surface of the HIFI.

Try some high end high powered solid state amps. You system will sound much better. The Maesto's like power and can handle 500 watts each.
I totally agree, a very good solid state class A amp and pre-amp is a perfect combo for this fine speakers.
