Thoughtful people take their time and use their resources to put out tutorials and idioits come and insult and disrespect them just because they can. This is sad. Do these idiots ever think about how much time and resources it takes to put out this materials? Please make constructive criticisms and not condem or disrespect others just because you disagree with them.
Keep up the good job mahalo bro.

A wonderful tutorial especially for those who cannot read music and who simply listen and play. I have loved it. And especially by placing another piano on top of it , you have made it even simpler to learn. I play piano accordion-only the 'amateurish' way- simply to enjoy music ' my way ' ! Thanks for your wonderful effort-please keep it up ! Regards.

Thanks Mr. Darling for sharing this gr8 info! I appreciate it. I will learn both ways of doing the second part that way can do a buildup and variety. PS Eb is one of my favourite scales and it's great rolling over all those black keys its not so difficult. .@Rob- I thought Brubeck wrote it too, but you are right it was composed by Desmond, but performed by the Dave Brubeck Band. It's usual the case the artist is tagged with the song, i.e. Elvis - Jailhouse Rock etc...

Excellent tutorial, I played it right away. Many of us mid grade, weekend hacks can handle chords and patterns. Eb, Bb, Db - 7th and diminished sure. I need help with voicing and finger patterns; 'licks' and style. Great piece of educational assistance, no wasted words or time. More from this guy please! Ha!

I have been using Bb minor as the chord after Eb minor, filling out as a 1st inversion on the 5th beat (Db bass note). It seems to work equally well with your Db major, the relative..

Actually, Take Five was meant to be a mix between 3/4 and 2/4. The counting should be: 123 12 123 12.
But I understand that it's easier to make it a 5/4 instead :)

Rob McHaddish Yes, Paul Desmond , who was Dave Brubeck's saxophone player, wrote the song so they played it together as the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Just thought I'd chime in.

      Jazmyne Breece
Yes, but maybe too well known, to the extent that people think he wrote it, thus depriving Paul Desmond of the compositional credit that is rightfully his.
