- Soaking up all the simple joys in summer. Days spent by the mediterranean sea and cafe stops in Aix-en-Provence while enjoying a good book and matcha. Just enjoying life's little treasures in Provence. If you are ever staying in Aix-en-Provence and are wondering how to spend your summer days a trip to the sea is wonderful or exploring the farmers markets in the morning and enjoying a coffee from a cute cafe and vintage shopping in some of the wonderful vintage stores.

Glad I’m not alone in being a lover of all things Grandma! You have a lovely week as well.
Lovely lovely vlog, Sam. Makes me yearn to be back in Aix. It’s been over 30 years but I get the warm fuzzies whenever I see it in your videos. ❤️ Also cute dress. 😎
I’m so glad it brings back good memories and good feelings. I hope you’ll be able to return one day 🫶🏽
You just do you darling and don't worry about what other people say. You're lovely and I thank you for your content. 😀
Thank you! It’s just an ongoing joke that my husband and I have between us. Embracing my inner grandma 👵🏽😂
This truly warmed my heart and put a smile on my face. Thank you 💓
Oh my gosh, thank you Debbie! Love spreading smiles… they go a long way. So thanks for giving me a smile right back☺️
I can NOT wait for you to take us to that swimming spot AND for you to take me to all the vintage shops. We have none here in Shanghai. Well, they have vintage stores but they are super expensive, so it defeats the point. Great video as always. So beautiful!!
Oh my gosh, you guys will love it! Can’t wait to show you guys around next summer✨
Beautiful dress, Sam. It really suits you.
Thank you Jenny🤍
Bonjour *Sam* & *Paul,*
That water is beautiful! Nothing like gross CA water..and our water is freezing!!
It’s so stunning, the video doesn’t even do it justice.
I love that dress on you and I think the yellow top is young and fun!
Thank you Kera🫶🏽 in love with both of them!
Hi Sam,that was a very peaceful, beautiful and lovely time that you experienced and shared with us. What a lovely time at that fantastic sea place. Love the sound of the nature around. And how warm and jentle thoughts about your friendship. Beauty in simplicity overall. And for your great clothes that you found, what can I say? Grandma? So be it. 'Grandma' all the way! Because they are beautiful and the blouse is so feminine in my opinion. Men are men. But girls know way better 🤗 Stay well and enjoy your time around ☀️
The spot by the sea is truly special, all smiles when I’m there. Thank you for coming along. You are so right, Grandmas are the best and I love their style 😂

Nicely presented video.
Thank you!
Man, your day at the sea looked amazing! Much love from Los Angeles 🫶🏼
It was the best, you need to come visit already so I can take you to all these amazing places!
Thank you for another lovely video! Yes I noticed that the LOCAL French in your region easily think the water is cold. I swam in the Mediterranean end of October and our host of our airbnb said the water would be too cold so we didn't bring swimsuits but we hiked to a calanque and I think the water still was around 18 or 19 so I just went in in my underwear! It was SOOOO GOOD! But I guess people from the North and people from the north of France swim in much colder waters. I actually quite like that!
I really want to come back to swim in the calanques in the fall!
Thank you Marloes! I think you’re right! The water for me is an initial shock but after it feels so good! Hoping you get to return to the calanques soon.
村上春樹の本! A book of Murakami, Haruki! (=^ェ^=)
Yes, my husband has gotten me reading all his books. Love them📖
Haruki Murakami A Long, Long Interview by Mieko Kawakami:
Now I’m reading a very interesting book in which another Japanese famous author in the world, Mieko Kawakami (川上未映子), whom Natalie Portman loves very much, interviewed with Haruki Murakami about his secrets in writing in 2017.
Sadly the book seems to be only available in Japanese (original), Korean and Chinese but not in English.
