As you rightly pointed out, anything at Costco with a price ending in .97 is a Costco wide clearance item and will not be replaced when it sells out. If you see a price ending in .00 that is a manager's mark down limited to just that particular store. Regular items that will be continued end in .99 . Deals like those cookie decoraters for .97 cents are few and far between but pretty amazing when you find one.
I highly recommend you try the Afghan garlic bread, it’s a great replacement for Nan bread when you’re having the butter chicken also available at Costco, absolutely delicious, but I recommend you warm up the bread in the air fryer.
The cheese you picked up from the Netherlands the seperate cheeses, totally love them bought 4 bags of them when I was up in Queensland ,for Christmas,, eat the last 2 this afternoon.
I am still going through all those tomatoes I bought from Costco at Christmas/New Year's earlier this year!! I am very surprised at how well they have kept in the fridge!! Buy it from the supermarket and they will have gone rotten in the fridge already!! Will be buying tomatoes from Costco from now on!! P.S...well done on your .97 cent bargain!! For that price you should have bought $5 worth!! Christmas pressies for later...depending on their use by date!! LOL!!
I used to take the subway in New York and always carried a few extra. If someone was on the subway and hungry and asking for money I would offer the granola bar. I was never turned down and the people who got it always ate it right away.
Talking about price tags, as another viewer pointed out, if there is a star in the upper right corner of the tag (in the US) or a plus sign (in Australia) in the upper middle of the tag it indicates that the item is discontinued. It can still be at regular price ( ending in 9) but will not be repurchased when they sell out. If I don't need the item right away I like to keep an eye on these discontinued items to see if they go on to clearance mark down price ( ending in 7) . Sometimes they sell out at full price before ever going on clearance but not always. And if it is an item I really like, when I first see the star in the upper right corner, I will purchase extras knowing that it is discontinued and at some point I won't be able to get more.
Costco must use diffrent bakerys in diffrent states. we get riviera bakery rolls they are like $7.50 for a 4 pack at woolies but i get a 12 pak for $9.10 at costco and the freeze well for lunches. Went yesterday and people was stocking up on juice boxes my kids are all older so no longer at school but good prices . I got a few of those cookie sets good deal
I can't remember, I was too busy watching the cooking display 🤣 Mum just said she thinks they were $299 for the set but if anyone knows for sure could they please leave a comment 👍
They were Char Siu pork ready meals. My son cooked it up and was not a fan, I didn't like it either. We had to throw it out. Very weird flavour. We love that brands Teriyaki chicken ready meal and this one was on special so we thought we'd give it a go.
Great Vlog! It would be great if you also showed the $ value per 100g for each item for future vids, curious to know what sort of camera you’re filming with? Thanks for all your hard work 😄
Thanks for watching. I'll try and show a few more $ per 100g in future videos. I had to cut lots out of this week's video because it was running a bit too long. I like to keep them under 30 minutes. Also, I just use an older GoPro Hero 7 Black to film with, I've had it for ages but it works great. My husband bought me a GoPro 13 for my birthday last year but I still haven't tried it out yet, I love the old one.
I can't remember the price, I was too focused on the cooking presentation 😂They were nice pans though. Mum thinks it was $299 for the set. If anyone knows the price for sure hopefully they leave a comment
not sure, but they are still super filling. It would be nice to get a couple of new things in the food court. We just keep getting the same thing every week now.
@@davemustaki134 We used to have way more choices. The Asian Costco's have way more choices. Currently we have the Hot Dogs, Pizza (only pepperoni and cheese) a sandwich (currently Turkey on Ciabatta), ice cream, latte freeze, and a berry smoothie.. Sometimes they have a Chicken Ceasar Salad but it comes and goes. And last but not least the Chicken Bake. This is the New York City area menu.
@@GoodyYumYum I believe there is a Costco in SA, but not everyone wants to join and pay a fee for a club membership card just to buy something when places like Woolworths and selected pharmacies can offer those types of "rewards" free of charge to customers.
True, but you can take advantage of the savings real quick especially if you buy the costco fuel, i have a diesel car and savings I've made are more than paying for the membership per year.

Is it just me or are Costco getting cheap on the pizza's? Seems like the slices aren't as packed as they used to be they also seem a tad smaller

@@AlanGoldwaser oh ok because once i saw a video and this guy had heaps of food including nachos with cheese
Costco requires you to sign up and pay for membership in order to shop at their warehouse/store, Aldi doesn't.
that's true

Snacks are fruit and nuts for kids not junk food packaged crap.
OK
