I am happy, no, delighted to watch ANY Kelly video. I don’t care what you’re doing, I enjoy all of it, and also enjoy story time. Basically, I see a Kelly video, I watch the video! Please just keep on making videos! And I love the term “I Jennifer McGuire it”! I do the multiple card thing deliberately, not just background though.

Please more watercoloring. Your style is so rich and lovely. I watch the copic markers so that I can learn your shading technique. But to see it in water colors is better as that is what I use primarily. And I never knew Altenew had coloring books. Thanks for the video.

And it takes no time at all! Even if I am not going ANYWHERE except to my craft table!!! lol!! Beautiful card! I love that new Altenew Coloring Book!! Thanks for introducing it!! xoxox
PS-Good luck to your Dad - he will be fine!! I have had both knees and both hips done and all is good!! PT is very important, though!!!!

I have 2 boys, age 6 and 7. I love to keep a stash of birthday cards ready for the parties we are invited to (at least before COVID). BUT my boys complained that all my cards are too girly! I too am attracted to the flowers and butterflies. I would love to see more ideas of young boy birthday cards. I LOVED the card you made for Nathan's last birthday since I can so relate. This new project from my boys has put me on the struggle bus myself!

As for future video ideas, I love watching your videos because of your immense talent when it comes to coloring. I don't just mean with Copics, either. All of your coloring, no matter what medium, is absolutely stunning! That and "story time" are why I love you videos! ❤️❤️❤️

I love all the things you do & this card is BEAUTIFUL. Also, I especially love your coloring. Optional ideas could be: 1) Scene building (I have trouble making sure I layer my stamps correctly) 2) In depth & slow downed details of coloring with alcohol markers (for a newbie who is just learning how to use them. I have a 120 set of Arteza Everblend Alcohol Markers). 3) Ideas on how to take 1 stamp set and make 3-5 cards that you can package together as a gift or to sell as a set. 4) Picking colors and getting them to blend well. Hopefully, you'll get a few ideas to help get your mojo back! Good luck with the hair appointment.

When I retired, I promised myself I would not stop taking care of myself, Most days I am in jeans, a top, etc. but I made myself a promise to always do my hair and I put on basic makeup (blush, mascara, lip gloss) It makes such a difference in how I feel about the day. Glad it spurred you to get your hair done. It really gives a person a lift! Enjoy!

I love to watch you color. Copics, watercolors, oxides, alcohol inks, doesn't matter the format. I am entranced just watching you and listening to you talk about your life. I think oxides are so popular because most of us have them and they are relatively cheap. I have twelve copic markers I can't use until I buy the refills and they are so expensive now, with getting the volume of the refill bottle getting cut in half, that it has become a low priority with so many other options available. Copic got greedy in my opinion. I always make multiple cards at a time, never just one. "I Jennifer Mcguire it" all the time. Works in my world with all the cards I send out. Hope this answers your question. Glad you are getting your hair done. thanks as always for sharing.

    1. Shapes/textures tutorial w/ markers
    2. How to design a simple card set (4 diff. cards) maybe for gifts
    3. Fav Materials, marker paper etc.
    4. Basic scene building- you are the master !!! It would be nice to have 3 or 4 go-to scenes you can use with almost everything. Then a couple build ons. ❤
    5. I love the alcohol with foil and watercolor videos! So amazing!

I always love your scene cards, your colouring is stunning doesn't matter what you use as medium for it.
But if you want you can do another card with Distress ink or Oxide, because those I have and real watercolours as you use them on this video I don't have.
I would love to change places with you and go to the hairdresser. Our second lockdown went in the day before my hair would be done (this was in December) and the appointment has been moved on for the second time by extending the lockdown to the beginning of March.
The colouring today was beautiful, thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful Valentine weekend.😍❤️

Probably an echo of what you have heard from everyone else but I love everything Kelly! I would like to challenge you to find ways to use those alcohol ink backgrounds! (I too struggle with this). Your one layer, masked scene cards are phenomenal but I'll admit I'm lazy and rarely do such in-depth work. Yours is FABULOUS. I always love your watercoloring too. How about focusing on more pastel colors? In whatever medium, watercolor, copic, colored pencil, alcohol inks and more! Another area where I struggle. Keep being the FANTASTIC Kelly we all know and love.

Agree with another comment, you are the queen of the one layer scene which, nobody else does them and they are by far my favourite to do and watch videos for. I’d love to see you do some with Purple Onion Designs Stacey Yacula as their stamps are built for scenes. I love watching you coloring and listening to you chat, it’s girls craft night especially with corona and not being able to have people over. Those are both lovely but I am really super drawn to the lighter one. First happy birthday to Eric and I forget who else she said and your family is having a birthday. Now I'm 57 and I really don't give a crap about how I look but I've never been a girly girl I've always been a tomboy when I was younger so I don't do hair and makeup, in fact I really hate having to dress up. I've always had super long hair like down halfway from my hiney to my knees until about three years ago when I had to cut it off. I have several conditions that cause severe pain all the time and I just could not wash it and take care of it anymore. So I told them to cut it as short as you can without me looking stupid. They kind of did, I looked a little stupid LOL but it's growing out now again because I needed to get it cut when Rona hit, and I have not been since.
I was drawn to your channel because of your Copic coloring. I was also very drawn because of the love you have for your family and that you we're very open about how much you love Jesus! Then I started getting into story time but realized I needed background info. So I went back to the very beginning of your videos and watched almost every one of them. I skipped some of the colored pencil videos. I knew after watching one I would never have the patience to do colored pencils well, and it turned out I didn't even have the patience to watch you do it LOL I remember a video very early on where you said that you would never get on a design team because you didn't want your hobby to become work and something that you had to do a particular way. And I know people can change their minds about things but I was surprised when you did get on your first design team. It seems to be working for you since you said that once your things you had to do were done that's when you couldn't do the stuff you wanted to do. So it seems that the projects you have to do are helping.
Something that always Sparks my mojo are card swaps. I know that we can see tons of things on videos, but it's nothing like holding a card in your hand that someone else did. Most places PO boxes are fairly inexpensive go rent one. You have blessed us with so many cards for so many years let us send you cards. My card making and crafting is dependent on when my body allows me to do it. Right now it's depending on when my body will allow me to put up all the junk so I can even get to the craft desk LOL so I am behind on a few. But it would truly be an honor to be able to make something nice for you. Anywho that's my suggestion. From what I seen you are far too creative to lose your mojo for too long. It'll be back. I'm lucky in a sense that this virus hasn't changed my life very much. I'm not bed bound most of the time but my life is spent mostly in a little 8 by 10 foot room where I have a tiny little craft desk. It would be very difficult for me to live on my own, so I live with my son and daughter-in-law and pretty much just stay in my room a lot. It helps me and I'm able to help them financially. One of my three grand dogs is in here with me probably 95% of the time. He's my little Shadow and doesn't like to be away from granny very long. I'm grateful because he's great company and is always snuggled up with me. when this virus began I would never have thought that a year later would still be bogged down in the middle of it. I pray this ends soon

I saw this coloring book, think its a great idea. You did a beautiful job on the regular water color. The zigs are so much harder to use, I feel you did an even better job using them, just because I feel they are so much harder to use. No suggestions exactly. I started watching you because I never used a Copic type marker. But then, got involved with you & your family....the stories. I do like your 3 D cards, not sure correct word but where you mask off the front & stamp in the stamps in the back. My brain, has difficulty doing it right. Your Mojo: just do what you love, if you enjoy it, we will want to do it. I second the shading video, Or Do your next watercolor page using oxide inks as watercolor. I’m not a fan of foil or heat embossing, but embossing folders with coloring might me interesting (painting them, copic, coloring them, ink blending them.) I have a few cat stamps, dog stamps, that I never know how to use them. I don’t want to have brown, black, grey cards. So if you have ideas for animals colored in blue/green/purple/ pink etc or rainbow, that would be fun. Great video on these paintings. I think I’ll make myself one of these watercolor book, using stamps that I haven’t used. I do light the larger than normal stamp florals for painting practice.

Hey Kelly, this is beautiful! [Congrats on your wedding, btw.] I have almost completely been off the grid for the past year so I didn’t know about Altenew’s newest products. These books are fantastic! I can’t (financially) keep up with all of the new products and I was following far too many ppl so I have unsubscribed to most of them. However, I still watch/follow a scant few, yours being one of them... If this past year has taught me anything, it is perspective!
I hope you are staying well and I am hoping to get back into my watercolouring and Copic colouring soon. I am beginning to feel like I’m ready to “PLAY” again....

Beautiful cards Kelly...I love to watch your technique when water coloring...I love when you do your copic coloring and always write down the color combos you use. Do you have a video on your favorite color combos ?...it sure would be of help to me.

Recently found your channel, loved watching this card! Especially loved how you did the background and than incorporated the color into the image! Thanks for the great tips!

Ok so both cards are gorgeous. But, the first card, I kept seeing it as a blooming onion from Outback Steakhouse, lol, maybe I’m hungry. But, really, I couldn’t see flowers anymore, all I could see was the darn blooming onion. You did great, it’s just me.

Beautiful cards. I specially love the watercolour one... because it’s softer. I would love to learn how to use alcohol markers (I have Altenew ones) and prismacolor pencils in soft, subtle hues. Pastel colours are my favourites and I always struggle as everything I do ends up darker or brighter than I want. I follow you in Instagram, so I guess we’ll see how you feel after you get your hair done. Plus I am waiting for the photo of Eric doing your pedicure! 🤣

I really love the watercolor card the best🥰.
I have an idea or two for videos: 1) how to get started in watercoloring. What supplies do I need to get started? The basics.
    2) Copic coloring flowers in "unusual" colors, not found in nature. Do we REALLY have to stick with natural colors when coloring flowers?
