Thank you for being so transparent! I have been wanting to do mind mapping in this fashion and its hard to get a true look at what personal anxiety can contain. Most youtubers want to stay neutral and not "share" personal thoughts. Which, really isn't so helpful. THIS was helpful! My therapist suggested mind mapping but didn't have time to teach me the entire process; you my friend have filled in the blanks for me. Thank you! Keep up the good work! I appreciate and am grateful for you!
Heather, reading through all your comments has genuinely warmed my heart. It's incredibly validating to know that my transparency, particularly in using specific examples to demonstrate unpacking anxiety, has been so helpful to you. I understand it's quite rare to find content that dives deep into personal experiences and thoughts, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to share mine in a way that resonates with you and, hopefully, many others. I get it... it definitely isn't always easy to choose the most vulnerable path, especially when the internet can bite back as hard as it does. I respect other creators' reservations but have nonetheless promised and vowed to myself to remain in alignment, and therefore committed to leading with honesty above anything else when it comes to the videos I make. I don't want to ever feel like I'm just that internet noise I so genuinely detest. Hearing that I've helped bridge the gap between the concept of mind mapping, as suggested by your therapist, and its practical application is both humbling and motivating! Again, thank you for your kind words, your appreciation, and your gratitude. They mean more to me than I can express. @heathercurell1991
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that my efforts have resonated with you. I strive to bring value and quality with everything I do, and your feedback is incredibly encouraging. If there's anything specific you enjoyed or would like to see more of, please feel free to share. Your support motivates me to keep improving.
Loved the follow-up tutorial from your last study session. Keep up the grind; your content has helped me tremendously with putting some of the chaos of my life into perspective.
I recently found your videos and spent the last week applying your mind map strategy especially with my overall anxieties. I’m a 4th year medical student soon to apply into anesthesiology, and over the years have been staunchly attached to a multitude of productivity tools like Evernote, notion, notability, goodnotes, linear to do lists etc. While I still love these tools and will continue to use them I find your mind mapping strategy incredibly helpful when done with both a paper and notability . I like the flexibility and ability to make connections between varied interests/ hobbies and professional goals. It’s also very comforting to not have the pressure of writing in linear and cogent thoughts as my brain feels like it has multiple streams of thought all time the same thought. thank you for your vulnerability and grace in sharing your anxieties with life! It’s greatly appreciated
Thank you for dropping by and leaving your kind words. Hand drawing maps is a deeply personal and connective practice, combining the analytical and emotional, so the act itself is therapeutic while the insights provides answers and solutions. That's basically what self therapy is! Thank you also for being on this profession of serving others, alleviating their suffering. We're on the same path in that respect.
Hey Man, awsome video, clear, informative, easy to understand! But I Few Questions. 1. Did you encounter problems, or speed bumps as you were carrying out your action plans on a daily? If so, how do you solve them without messing up your already established routine? For example, Say you delegates responsibility of learning AI to one of your team members, and they have a surprise death in their family. Your other team members already have alot going on, and so do you. How do you solve this problem on the fly if one of your legs so happens to not work out as planned? 2. When anxiety arises as your thinking or expanding out from your nodes while mapping, trying to find the deeper reasons, or solutions to those reasons. do you work thru your anxiety? how do you calm anxiety {which causes me to freeze up, mind goes blank and i end up having to stop for an hour} without losing so much time because you have other things going on?

Nice Presentation, what type of Pen did you used on that notebook.

Sheng, thank you so much for what you do. And want to mention one thing - there is not only linear or exponential growth for your videos, but there is also a huge impact on people's life. Your videos have significantly influenced my life, and there are no metrics on it. Really want to thank you for it. By the way, I had the same health issues. Try matcha tea instead of coffee. It has a weird taste, but you will get used to it :) Thank you!
@@ShengHuang I agree. Your videos are very helpful. I hope you do not give up on your channel. 33K followers is still a number to be proud of. If I might be so bold as to throw in a few unsolicited suggestion (you can stop reading here if you like), it is clear that there were not weekly videos for a consecutive year or two. That could certainly have slowed things down. Also, thumbnails from what I see are not very eye catching. Anyways, you did not ask for that, so if you did read it, if it helps, great. If not, feel free to forget about it. Overall, I hope you keep going. This channel has clearly not exhausted all its options to forge forward. Best to you!
@@m.e.3614 more than anything your comment reminds me that there are those who benefit a lot from my videos. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. As you've noticed, I haven't posted any videos for nearly half a year. That's intentional as I have been exploring within myself to revisit WHY I create in the first place. I appreciate your unsolicited feedback - and I will certainly take them into account :)
Still enjoy recapping on these MindMap videos where you walk thru your MindMap process. I love it when thought leaders take viewers thru the step by step process they use to make the best use of any productivity tool. It is helpful that you’re including personal commentary to describe your thought process along the way. Keep up the great work ! Keep up the good work, it’s fun to watch you grow! 👏🏼🫡 and of course, Thanks again for sharing what’s worked for you! Thank you for letting me know!
Sheng has an excellent movement going and I'm happy to be along for the ride
I'm happy as you are that you are here!
I just started getting into mind mapping. This was really helpful
Glad this could be of help! It's certainly a "less common" application of Mind Mapping... But in my opinion it's an important one.
Love you're Videos I'm Literally trying to Mind Map while being Bipolar Manic 🙃 It's all over the Place and Psychedelic 🎨 🧠
