There was this guy called Bubbles that went all the way to the competitive scene cannon rushing 90% of the time. He even beat coach park cannon rushing a couple of times (and doing a Stalker timing on one of them I think).

Love your guides man. Started from watching the 2 hour learn to play all races guide from 2 years ago. Currently I'm silver 2 as Protoss and it helped me a lot. Now I mostly die to Protoss cannon rushes or strong early pressure, but I definitely win a lot more games than before. Even had a 3 win streak once lmao.

When you build your first gateway, that same probe out to scout.
If the enemy probe or scv arrives at your base before then, expect to get cannon rushed or something cheesy.

I'm new to Starcraft, and at first I wanted to play all three races equally. I paid for this game, so I'm going to experience everything, gosh-dang-it. But sadly, I'm just not a fan of Protoss gameplay. A bit of a shame because I do love their unit designs. Playing 66% of races is still not too bad, though. :)
Also, as a new player freaking out about "will I need to remember build orders", it is so relieving to hear that the big picture is more important than the small details. Thank you.

I learned from seeing Terran and playing Terran in CO-OP that stutterstepping is easier to do with rightclick move then pressing S to Stop the units. It's 1 less key to press and you don't accidentally A click your own units in intense situations :)
Just an idea that you might want to push on new players since it is easier to do.

Agreed, but when you have a big army, and you hit S, the entire army stops moving, and only the army on the front line moves in to attack.

With the rise of StarCraft Remastered, I feel the video title should specify that it's about Starcraft II. I was expecting a brood war tutorial. I'm gonna watch this anyway because I play both games, but it's something to think about.

Btw, is it better to use standart hotkeys instead of grid ? My hands are really used to using grid now that i can be fast with it but i also noticed that a lot of master level player are using standart hotkeys instead.

I feel like a great way to learn to micro your macro is to keep building while you move your camera back to the unit you so badly want to micro and just ignore it. Learn to watch it die a horrible death without doing anything about it xD

But, important part that I'm hung up on in my own ladder journey: How do I adapt to 1 base/proxy? I can often scout and understand when I'm being all in'd, but I don't know what to do!
SoMuchNoise1 If you know you're gonna get rushed, you're most of the time a step ahead
Use your defenders advantage at its full potential, use defensive structures but not too many so you can keep macroing
Oh and building and unit positioning, it can make the difference between a succesful defence or a failed one
How can you make multiple constructions with a protos worker at the same time? I know you can create the second building only after it starts the first one. But i see you can instruct worker to start automatically multiple buildings.

Thx for guid I've just started playing the game and I choose protos as my spirital animal! But get humilate in pvp most of the time actually I was thinking about uninstallign the game cause people here playing like for years and I'm newbie which doesn't know a thing!
I only started playing a couple days ago as well, also Protoss, I recommend you get a more experienced friend (or try to find someone on whatever) and get them to play against you, point out your mistakes, and basically coach you. It's worked for me, and considering I didn't even buy the game yet, it's my only option. Seriously, though, it helps. I basically only knew how to move units 2 days ago and now I know just about enough to get by when playing with some more skilled friends.

Yeah I'm as bad or worse than these guys. I wouldn't do the awful stuff they did, but I would do different even worse things and get killed quicker.
The machine-like macro and steel-vice focus of actual SC lifers is beyond ridiculous. I don't think it's possible to match it without playing thousands of games. Is there or has there ever been a master leaguer who hasn't played at least 20,000 games? Unless you can play SC for a crap ton of hours, platinum is a high freaking rank.
I feel like there's a sort of skilled sword play that goes on. Get vision, lead with a widow mine sacrifice (but not too far of a lead, make sure the mines either hit your sacrifice or are killed by your forces), split their forces with force fields (near from far), fire up guardian shields, stay out of range of the far ones but in range of the near ones, focus down those vikings before they kill your colosi.. but don't chase! Don't let your anti air get drawn through the center of their army by their defensive micro! Quick! Split away from the raven missile targets! It's all stuff you know very well that you need to somehow do until the moment comes and it doesn't really happen very well because it just isn't in your fingertips because gosh, you haven't even played 10,000 games, let alone 20k or 30k.
I would love to try an arcade practice tool that gives you a 3 second look at the army you're going to face in x:y minutes and seconds, after which point all your structures and static defenses vanish, that army appears on the field, and its whatever you've got by then against that. Beat it 3 times in a row, and you move on to the next one. Make it so that by the time you're beating, say, the 10th army, you have to have used better macro, at least in the practice game, than most silver players can muster.
An evolution of that practice tool could be one that gives you glimpses of the opponent's buildings at 1:24 and at 3:17 (or something like that), and makes you guess at the comp you're going to fight.
Another option on it might be to have it put you under specific amounts of specific types of pressure while trying to macro up. And make the AI actually try to kill as many of your workers as it can and not be distracted by buildings and units, unless it can kills those units and keep killing workers.
Another tool that would be nice is one that lets you examine parts of a replay in slow motion, and shows you the selected player's mouse and their keystrokes near the mouse, so you can be watching their mouse carefully and still notice each and every keystroke, and shows the left clicks and right clicks they made, at the time and place where they clicked. So you can clearly see exactly how in the hell that guy managed to do all the stuff they did when they did it.

Are there any things to use chrono boost for other than making drones? Any upgrades that are must have and/or high priority to get as fast as possible?
OneOxone after you have 2 bases with probes you should focus your chrono on any upgrade or high value unit from the stargate or the robotics

If you want a brief overview of spells:
Gateway:
Charge increases base move speed, which lets zlots keep up with stalkers. Very good vs ranged units, not great if they get surrounded by lings
Blink is self-explanatory. Blink back injured stalkers, blink away from psi storms and purification novas, pick off dropships, etc
Guardian shield reduces each incoming hit by 2. Very effective against high attack speed (like marines, hydras, or stalkers)
Force field is impassible, even by your own units. Use them to cut an enemy army in half, deny retreats, block lings and zlots, etc massive units will destroy force field on touch (archons, colossi, thors, and ultras)
Hallucinations spawn units that deal 0 damage and take double damage. It's impractical, other than early Phoenix scouts (even then, meh) fake units glow blue if the enemy has detectors, and the unit AI will not attack them
Shades are controllable units which are invulnerable. They can walk through units, but not buildings. Good for slipping through chokes or escaping. If canceled early, the adept does not teleport.
Feedback removes all energy from a unit, and deals 1 damage per energy drained. Use on ghosts, infesters, other HTs, ravens, medivacs, anything that has energy and scary abilities
Robo:
Barrier absorbs 100 dmg, and expires after a few seconds. It triggers after the immortal loses its shields. Basically impossible to micro.
Phase mode: becomes a super pylon but loses the ability to move. Crucial for reinforcements ASAP. keep it about a half- screen behind your army so it doesn't get killed easily
Purification nova: shoots out a controllable, invulnerable bomb. Moves through units and structures. Deal (I think) 200 damage plus a small bonus to shields. It does friendly fire, so don't hit yourself
Stargate:
Graviton beam stuns a unit and makes it float, turning it into an air unit. The Phoenix is also stunned while casting this ability. Use it to pick up workers for other Phoenix to kill.
Cheese beam (oracle laser) can 2-shot workers very fast, dealing bonus dmg vs light. It only targets ground. Use to snipe workers, plus scouting. Keep in mind it uses energy, even when it's not firing.
Revelation shows where the targeted units are for a short time. Pretty impractical, considering an observer is much more reliable
Stasis ward makes a mine that can be killed if the enemy has detection. When activated, the ward places enemies in stasis. They can't do anything, including TAKE damage. If one gets activated, and grabs large parts of the army, move in. Also impractical
The void ray beam (prismatic alignment?) gives bonus damage to ARMORED units. Use against anything armored really (just not mutas, hydras or marines)
Tempests might have an ability, not sure. I never use em

what do you do against a cannon rush in PvP?
always scout and kill the pylon(if near your base) with 3 probes it was use against me he's so very calm that's why I know now the counter for my attack xD well if it's not near your mineral line just expand after his cannon maybe at that time your second nexus will be completed transfer all your probes there and mine until you make units that kill the pylon before the cannon
I killed a cannon rush recently. I just pulled 4 drones to kill each pylon or cannon protoss was making, then killed the probe he sent, made a spawning pool asap, made as many zerglings as I could (like 6 or 10), then killed his 2nd probe and cannon rush outside my base he was trying to make, then scouted around to make sure he wasn't making proxy stuff anywhere, then sent 20 zerglings to his base since he wasted so much money on the cannons I knew he wouldn't have any units at home, killed 35 workers, his main nexus, and cyber core, then took 4 bases, droned up like crazy, made 3 evo chambers, got +1 everything, made a lair, made a hydra den, got hydra upgrade, built like 80 drones and maxed out on hydras, then a moved across the map. Got slowed down a bit at the gauntlet of cannons at the front of his base, targeted the pylons to depower the cannons, then killed the rest of his stuff with hydras and zerglings and a few roaches.

What is a good option when I know my enemy goes for Air units? With this build I'm kind of lost against air, but that aside it works great :D
Vs Zerg? Archons and stalkers are pretty good
Vs Toss? Phoenix vs voids, stalkers vs Phoenix or carriers.
Vs Terran? Stalkers vs basically everything. Voids vs carriers
