I'm glad someone on here talks about the weight issue when it comes to BOB. In my time in the service, we routinely had 40-60 lb packs and sometimes more and people, regardless of their size, carried their packs on multi mile humps. They may not have liked it but they did it and were more than able......and that weight does not include weapons and FLAK with SAPI plates. 40 lbs is not heavy. Awesome Video!
MayfallTribe haha if you can’t carry 40 pounds for some miles that’s kinda sad that’s like a quarter the weight of a average person. Like he said SUCK IT UP lol
Your modular concept is brilliant! As for the food bars, I'm diabetic so their high sugar is out of the question for me. I tend to carry some rice & pasta sides. I can buy those for a buck or less, and a LOT will fit in my pack. Yours is a VERY comprehensive setup and I commend you on an EXCELLENT job!
@@JimmyGunXD556 That's beyond awesome! Very interested in knowing what changed with the loadout. Glad to hear the bag is still paying for itself! Makes me feel much better about my model rush bag.
I only have 2 food stuff in my bag atm. I'm a 14 yr old girl so I'm not pro kitted out like him but I have a cross bow (wooden) a sling shot and a home made shot made from the cardboard inside toilet roll and a balloon cut in half and taped around the cardboard (I might change the cardboard into a pipe). My 2 foods are a bag of porridge and a bag of pasta :) I love anything army, guns, survival, knifes, farming, hunting, creating ect. Really cool pack tho you are really prepared and you have it really organised and you explained it well thank you :)
42 lbs. including food, water and EDC gear. You have to remember that you can always disgard things if the situation calls for it if you need to make it lighter.
This is probably the most well packed bug out bag I've seen on the tube (and I've seen a lot). There are somethings in there I think I would never use and just take up space and few things that I think were over redundant, but still the best bag I've seen while scanning these vids on youtube. Great Job!
Definitely convinced me to get this bag. Been in the market for an everyday use bag and also a bug out bag. I'm actually going to purchase 2 bags. This video was awesome. Thank you. Thank you for also writing in detail what you have in the bag. Thank you so much.
Thanks. Keep in mind what if you can not get home to get your BOB bag. This is why I incorporated my 72/BOB in with my EDC. You can't pick your battles. It also saves money not having to buy multiple items. The savings also allows you to put better quality items in you main pack. Just a thought if it applies to you.
I like knowing I do have a BOB in my truck at anytime so that comforts me. Now as far as the EDC it's more practical for work clothes, gym clothes, weapon of choice, and just all around travel/work bag. Your bag in the video will be my platform for my BOB for sure.. Thank you for taking the time out to reply back..
This is definitely one of, if not, the best bug out bag videos I've seen. The only thing I can think of that you're missing is a good quality water filter(like a MSR filter). Yea there a bit bulky. But you'll find room in there some where. I'd say forget those water treatment tablets. Keep them of course. But when real emergency hits the fan, clean fresh water is every thing some times. Cool video.
You win...I just re-thought my packing.. downsizing for the basics. Watched Yaegers vids..pretty real world. I try to expand my situational coverage having lived, traveled and camped in Alaska for 10 years. little cook kit was neat. I have decided for the first 3 weeks, you would be the best equipped dude to have in the group. Thanks for sharing your thought for prep.
Thanks ! its refreshing to read a comment when somebody gets why "I" packed my bag the "I" wanted too for "my" needs!! The pouch is a Milspecmonkey admin pouch. 3 days ago I picked up a slick tourniquet holder! Stay tuned!
This bag is NOT ready for a real situation. Dont waste your time remaking this kit. Look up some real videos of survivalist bags and not this joke of a guy who is a gear freak
Real sharp setup - I was going over a list of things I still need for my setup, and this video not only covered everything but gave me a plethora of additional ideas. Thanks.
One thing a lot folks don’t consider are a pair of water googles. Can be very useful to protect your eyes if debris is in the air you can still stay mobile. Also can be used for diving into water in case of floods or need to see under water.
Cool video, I am glad we have a 5.11 retail store here in Houston. I like being able to physically check out items before I buy. 5.11 has quality gear.
Love the pack, some of the items i thought were brilliant! This pack seems to move between 72 hour and SHTF(fishing rod, 6L blatter??), Love the internal use of molle bags, this will allow you to adjust the bag's composition/structure as you move, brilliant! I would be careful with hanging items on the outside of the bag, i would want to be as quiet and locked down as possible, only a single light on the outside of the bag (the cheap light). I have found one simple thing to not over look is a tennis ball for meeting dogs and for something to do while walking.
Thanks, its nice to see comments from people who "get it". Being modular allows you to cater the situation with what you want for a particular scenario or application. Hanging items are for fast access. There are no situations that I would have to be stealth in any survival situation. If I did and realized it. I can detach the items and stow them accordingly.
Just by watching your video has basically solved alot of issues for me. Like what bag do I wanna buy, or how I can squeeze things to fit in that pack. You have the best put together pack I've seen on youtube point blank. Thank you very much...
I will be doing a video on organization and the versatility of having pouches loaded vs. loose items in your pack. Such as packing for vacation and traveling on your vacation with the pack.
JimmyGunXD556 small water resistant sting tied bags are becoming very inexpensive (under $3), and a great way to group interior items by subject group (first aid, tools, food, clothing, etc). They add almost no weight, and can be labeled with a sharpie.
I run a 5.11 (multicam) Rush 12; I also use the same locking black carabiner; the nite ize adjustable knot strap, med kit, same gloves; same 5.11 tech pouch above your exterior Medkit; I also have a Eddie Bauer small sling bag inside; kind of same idea of your smaller bag that you can deploy if you need to go light; it’s a great idea and works great when you only need a handful of items from your pack. Good video bud
Thanks. It's changed a bit since then. I hope in the next couple weeks to do an update. I had big ideas of doing vids but my job changed and was just to busy to get into it. I've had a ton of request so I hope to have it up soon. Thanks

I got a lot of neat ideas from you to make better use of my Rush 72. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I also found your unique style of the walk-thru and level of organization very refreshing.
Wow that's a lot of stuff. I keep taking stuff out of mine. Truck driving in the tropics, storms, flooding, road closing, insects, other vehicles crashing, shitting myself are the main events to be ready for
Newjersey14 3 just know that exposure is your first enemy, dehydration is second then food. Every tool essential for avoiding dying by those means is absolutely priority 1 You should get some really basic tools, go use them till you can explain every molecule of them.

IMPRESIONATE EL VIDEO!!!!
Yes I'm on the road a lot and have to eat in my car. Sometimes I'm in someone else's car. My bug out bag is part of my EDC. In case of a bug out situation it's obvious I will not need stain remover and depending on the situation other things out of my pack can be discarded depending on the situation. But I feel it's best to utilize your bug out bag as an everyday carry does it keeps you familiar with the gear that you have.
I'm totally blown away by your pack I've never seen so much great useful stuff in any edc pack, so much detail and thought has gone into your pack. I only have a maxpedition versipack it's small and useless in comparison to yours. totally amazing I love it
Hey says the Canadian ! I'd says perfectly good, well pack, first time i see the car tire repair in a bug out/in/72 hours/survival/etc,etc all in all perfect.
It is the most asked question about my pack and probably the most used out of my pack. People miss that my pack is an EDC as well not just a BOB bag. I felt it would be best to utilize my BOB bag for everyday life, then to build it and throw it in the closet and hope I was home when I needed it. I keep a sport coat in the back seat of my car in case I meet with customers, and the lint roller is a life saver. Spot remover is for the after lunch mishaps, and I hate phone calculators. Thanks
How much do you think you've spent on all the stuff in that pack? I know people build over time, but to have everything matching brand and so many items, that must cost over 1,000 to put together.
Its not the weight "tarzan" lmao it's the stupidity of what this ass decides to carry and hang or stick on his kit. He's a nerd into every EDC gadget that's known to man. He probably lives in downtown Chicago in case he gets lost or needs trauma care He even has his flinstones multi-vitamins to save his life
@@JimmyGunXD556 Or a hundred pound gut, that's good. A lot of people that say "wow, a 40 lb ruck is heavy" are carrying tons of extra weight because they're fat ass keyboard warriors and survivalists that are eating candy bars while they watch these videos and comment on them, lol. Most would become disoriented and may die in the wilderness because they forgot things as simple as land navigation. I have chronic pain and, when I run guns and gear and camp in the wooded mountains around my deeply rural house, I carry more than 40 pounds of guns, ammo, mags, pistol belt, plate carrier ( I don't run plates ), and way more in my rucks. If a 45 year old guy with pretty severe, lifelong chronic pain of long standing and that walks with a limp can do it, they can. I use a cane ( walking/trekking pole in the wild ), but I still do it :)
Thank you for this info sir. I used alot of it to built my survival bag. I have two. One I use on a weekly basis to travel from work to home and another mini one just for everyday work.
Great to hear. I incorporate my survival pack as and EDC because you can't choose your scenario and having your main pack at home if you cannot get home is useless and a waste of time and energy. Thanks
Very good video I'm new to all this and currently looking at this bag as my 72 hour bug out bag and this video has helped me make the decision! Thanks for this fantastic
TLip1980 glad it helped!! I still use it everyday. I just got back from a one-week vacation in Las Vegas. I put all the Molle pouches and gear that you cannot have on a plane and put it in my suitcase. I carried my first aid kit and my spare backpack ( for wife) and it was great for shopping and bringing back pop and snacks back to the hotel room. you just can't be Pals webbing and Molle attachments. they allow you to cater your pack for every need versus buying a bunch of backpacks.
I forgot to ask you ,How good is the bag aginst water like rain , sorry about my spelling. Then if it is bad so use rain protection on the bag sould do fine right?
I've been doing loads of research on EDC packs, and I've come back to tell you yours is my favorite. It's the closest to what I was looking for, Becuase these items you have are mostly useful in an urban environment. Thanks for your time and effort sir, Looking forward to more videos.
This is the best well put together pack I have scene!! I just placed an order and I have been looking for a 72 hour bag forever and finally found one thank you!!
Props to you my friend!!! Definetly one of the best bug out bags/72 hour bags on youtube! Although it is definetly to much stuff to carry with me. I enjoyed the briefcase video alot too! Great Job!!
41 pounds it´s a lot if you have to walk long trails, but it would be a blessing on the other side if you can take it in a car or bike cause you have lots of stuff to be safe and confortable. Your GSI cook kit looks awesome!!!
Great vid! Bought my 72 rush yesterday mostly based on your review and I gotta say that is a lot of storage space! It's nice that you take the time to show everything and also list it, got some great ideas. Thanks!
man. i like the organization, but you most have spent like $500 before you even started putting stuff in the bag with all those 5x6 poutches. looks great though. gave me some ideas for my pack.
12.52 and I have to go get some duck tape to keep my head from exploding. Jimmy your attention to detail is amazing (I wish there was mandatory military training in Ireland when I was growing up, just gotta work on myself I guess). You're a shining light to us 'freshman' preppers
Dude! This is the best BOB video I've ever seen. I almost get the Maxpedition Gyrfalcon. I'm glad I saw this video. I don't see myself building a BOB like yours, but it's a great baseline. Kudos!
Been looking at packs. Both the 72 and 24. I doubt that I would ever stock it as well as you have. Just curious how much $ do you have into it fully loaded? I also noticed you have no firearm?
My EDC video shows my carry gun. Only load your pack to your needs. There is no perfect pack. Allot of videos are really intended to share equipment and ideas.
mattklump No offense taken. If you play your cards right you can get the bulk of your pack done as gifts. (the expensive stuff) Then every month buy something to ad to the pack you think you would like.(usually the cheaper stuff) Mine has allot of gadgets because I work out of my car. My nieces and nephews love that I have little tools on me to fix and put together their toys. You can always discard things in the slim chance you would need it for "survival". Also to tell you the truth I need to update my vid. Allot has changed and I've condensed it since then. Good luck with your pack.
Been working on my own bugout bag, I also have a Rush 72 because of this video. Love the bag. Thank you for the detailed list of items you use and where you store them. I printed out the list and will use it to enhance my own kit. Makes it so much easier to find the items online with the list you provided. Thank you
RTEK Great to hear. This community is about sharing ideas and gear for personal use and application for a persons specific environment. I will be doing a video of my pack on vacation shortly.
After much research I personally think this is the best system for the rush 72 which I just ordered. I'm going to personalize mine to my needs of course but a lot of good information here and I am purchasing a lot of the same gear you have. Well done.
+JimmyGunXD556 I absolutely will. I'm glad I watched your other video on the maxpedition FR1. That leatherman will be perfect for servicing my AR in the field. The camera is also badass although I'm getting the updated version called the "TG-870" which comes out tomorrow. Very cool camera. Thanks again for the informative videos, I'll be in touch when my pack is complete.
The way I have my bag loaded out works great for me in everyday use as well as if I would need it in an emergency. I can go from calculating in the field to being in a suit to meet with new suppliers. Lint roller works great for that sport coat that been in the backseat for 4 weeks.
My friend, that is a great pack! Thanks for the detailed information on all the contents. My maxpedition kodiak is a bit small but i am still able to load it up with a decent amount of gear. It takes time to collect/purchase all the proper survival gear. I will get there. Thanks again. Well done sir!
Good work with this pack! I've got the 5.11 72RUSH only since 2 months, tried it for medium trip in Swiss Mountains, and have to say, it is very confortable, with a 45 lbs load (not much stuff, a lot of water for the test). Now I'm customizing It with the additional puoches (as you say, it saves a lot of space in the middle of the pack). You gave me some good ideas for addiotional storage, even If I have similar requirements. I also choose this pack for keeping it in the car, an for duty reasons it's not always possible to reach home quickly, and If you have to stay out for several days it's great not to have have resuply problems (even if you find a Hotel)
Thank you for a great, detailed video on this pack. I just tonight decided on the rush 72 pack, instead of something from maxpedition, and then found your video on it. Good suggestions for usages of 5.11's molle attatched square pouches to keep things organized, I like your organization. Thanks again.
Thats not to heavy, at the age of 18 i joined the basic miltary drill in germany, and i swaer full packed with all equipment we had to carry easylie over 35 kilogramms maybe more, all the day running doing pushups trhough obstacle course, and running and marching all the day long, and the fun begins again the next day :) damn that was a hard time but i loved it
Great load out. Most complete that i have seen. People don't realize the planning work and money that goes into a 72 hour bag. Have been working on mine for a year. Not there yet.
linus heathershaw yes...if you need 50lbs of ammo to win a battle you either carry it or loose. Also people tend to forget that you can discard things in your pack per scenario.

Uh that's with a good military diet, several weeks/months of training, discipline, being amongst peers, and fearing the wrath of the D.I lol
MayfallTribe haha if you can’t carry 40 pounds for some miles that’s kinda sad that’s like a quarter the weight of a average person. Like he said SUCK IT UP lol
I still come back to this video for ideas. The bag literally has everything.
Same! Watched this like 6 times
Me too
Your modular concept is brilliant!
You're just way too legit my dude! Thank you so very much for this video : D 10 years old and still providing massive value!
Thanks. Things have changed a bit since then. But the bag is still great condition and still travels with me wherever I go.
Hope you’ve kept with your preparedness mindset as a 20 year old! I’m sure by now your a force to be reckoned with. Godspeed
42 lbs. including food, water and EDC gear.
Great Job!
BlackOwl18E and
This was a caricature of a bug out bag. This clown had a fucking lint roller!!! SMH
Wow.....smh
This is NOT a real bug out bag
+alexanderpowers1 lol
Stay tuned!
You have literally thought of everything! Thanks so much for producing this amazing video.
Thanks for showing me how prepared I'm not! I got work to do!
Tweezy316 lol
Tweezy316 same here
This bag is NOT ready for a real situation. Dont waste your time remaking this kit.
Look up some real videos of survivalist bags and not this joke of a guy who is a gear freak
Real sharp setup - I was going over a list of things I still need for my setup, and this video not only covered everything but gave me a plethora of additional ideas. Thanks.
Way too much crap in this setup
One thing a lot folks don’t consider are a pair of water googles. Can be very useful to protect your eyes if debris is in the air you can still stay mobile. Also can be used for diving into water in case of floods or need to see under water.
Yes!! I've since added being a contact lens wearer. Also great to protect your eyes in the woods from branches ect. Thanks!
Cool video, I am glad we have a 5.11 retail store here in Houston. I like being able to physically check out items before I buy.
5.11 has quality gear.
Its a great pack still rocking it every day. Its been 6 years. I broke a buckle about 1 year ago and 5.11 replaced no questions asked.
Prolly if not the best load out and organization of a bob bag I've seen, I've seen a lot! Awesome so many ideas and good things came from this video!
Thanks. I need to do an update of new gear and organizational ideas. Glad you got some ideas for it to apply to your needs.
Just by watching your video has basically solved alot of issues for me. Like what bag do I wanna buy, or how I can squeeze things to fit in that pack. You have the best put together pack I've seen on youtube point blank. Thank you very much...
Glad I could offer you some ideas. Thanks
Definitely looking forward to your future video's, your more realistic when it comes to survival preparedness.
I will be doing a video on organization and the versatility of having pouches loaded vs. loose items in your pack. Such as packing for vacation and traveling on your vacation with the pack.
Sounds great man, much appreciated....
Thanks
You did an excellent job sir. You’re ready man!
Ty so much for this video it made me really think about what to put in my bag so many vid don't show whats in it plus I just bought this bag bec this video so ty for ur for taking the time to make this video its greatly appreciated
Damn dude... Awesome BoB... well done... who needs a house when you’ve got this thing...
I got a lot of neat ideas from you to make better use of my Rush 72. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I also found your unique style of the walk-thru and level of organization very refreshing.
good lord this man is prepared to fight the world.
Great video. While I won’t use everything in your kit there is some great ideas I didn’t think about. Great work!
one of the best BOB's i ever saw..cheers bro
Wow that's a lot of stuff.
I keep taking stuff out of mine. Truck driving in the tropics, storms, flooding, road closing, insects, other vehicles crashing, shitting myself are the main events to be ready for
Great video . I'm 13 and I'm trying to build a self sustainable bug out bag
Newjersey14 3 just know that exposure is your first enemy, dehydration is second then food. Every tool essential for avoiding dying by those means is absolutely priority 1 You should get some really basic tools, go use them till you can explain every molecule of them.
Thank you for listing everything you have! I am on a shopping spree right now to add some of your awesome load out to mine! Good video!
did he say "toilet paper, im the shart king" at 14:30?????
+Riley Baker YES!
Bahaha I thought I was hearing things, he sure did!
I think he did
who announces they are the shart king??? wtf
@@onis1969 someone who sharts ALOT!
probably one of the best 72 hr packs i have seen. It gave me alot of ideas. Thanks Jimmy. I am still putting mine together.
Wtf? I travelled a world, but YOU can do all galaxy with all these stuff you carry in! :) Gr8t video, I wanted know more about 5.11 rush 72, even I have Karrimor sf predator 80-130 litres, as I carry around 38kg(storm case im2300 with laptop and camera dslr, lenses) chefs knives, clothes...etc..
IMPRESIONATE EL VIDEO!!!!
Just found your channel. I really enjoy how thorough you are without being long winded, and how much information you provide. Keep up the good work.
CarvinV3 Thank you !
As much as I wanted to make fun of the stain remover, I just can't lol. This is a fantastic kit!! So many useful items!! 😎
I only have a maxpedition versipack it's small and useless in comparison to yours. totally amazing I love it
Jimmy the best part is the extended-light on the front side (6:50)
;-)
This video is still a banger 10 years later 😊
Got many of my ideas from this video!
Awesome Video. I just recently got into creating a 72hr pack and this was by far the most comprehensive video Ive seen. Thanks
+PrBaLLaz123 Thanks glad it gave you ideas for your pack.
"Toilet paper... I'm the shart king" haha
Hey says the Canadian !
I'd says perfectly good, well pack, first time i see the car tire repair in a bug out/in/72 hours/survival/etc,etc all in all perfect.
I can't wait for your update!
Great video ive watched it more than a couple of times, love the way you have your stuff organized.
"Suck it up" - best advise I've ever heard for all the people hiding behind their screen.
Delta Bravo Capital
Allot of pussies out there. they complain about a 39 lb survial pack yet a 40lb plate carrier thats ok. LOL
Its not the weight "tarzan" lmao it's the stupidity of what this ass decides to carry and hang or stick on his kit.
He's a nerd into every EDC gadget that's known to man. He probably lives in downtown Chicago in case he gets lost or needs trauma care
He even has his flinstones multi-vitamins to save his life
@@JimmyGunXD556 Or a hundred pound gut, that's good.
Thank you so much , I found this bag thanks to you :) nice vido man!
You put in all information nice love youtuber like you :).
Thanks glad it was helpful.
I forgot to ask you ,How good is the bag aginst water like rain , sorry about my spelling.
Then if it is bad so use rain protection on the bag sould do fine right?
Isley
It's not waterproof. But resistant to light rain for short time. When traveling in the rain I use a cover.
I've been doing loads of research on EDC packs, and I've come back to tell you yours is my favorite. It's the closest to what I was looking for, Becuase these items you have are mostly useful in an urban environment. Thanks for your time and effort sir, Looking forward to more videos.
NayokeHenji I hope to do an update of this pack very soon. Thank you for your comment!
remember always keep your knife on your person.(Kabar,etc.)
This is the best well put together pack I have scene!! I just placed an order and I have been looking for a 72 hour bag forever and finally found one thank you!!
4 days ago, I picked up a great new product to hold my CAT tourniquet! Stay tuned! I will be doing a vid of it next week. Thanks
Props to you my friend!!! Definetly one of the best bug out bags/72 hour bags on youtube! Although it is definetly to much stuff to carry with me. I enjoyed the briefcase video alot too! Great Job!!
Thanks!
41 pounds it´s a lot if you have to walk long trails, but it would be a blessing on the other side if you can take it in a car or bike cause you have lots of stuff to be safe and confortable. Your GSI cook kit looks awesome!!!
I set up my Rush 72 similar to yours about 5/6 years ago and it still stands as a great setup. I also have the rush 12 for a get home bag.
You sir... are a fan of Maxpedition! Great pack, great vid! Thanks for sharing
Great vid! Bought my 72 rush yesterday mostly based on your review and I gotta say that is a lot of storage space! It's nice that you take the time to show everything and also list it, got some great ideas. Thanks!
Glad I could help. It is a great pack that gives you a ton of options.
Nice the best so far you should list the things you have there very nice I'm thinking on starting to build my first
Thanks. It's listed in description. I'm planning on doing an update soon. still use it everyday.
WOW that is one nice pack very organized and very prepared for just about any situation!!! GREAT JOB
Thanks, its changed a bit since then.
man. i like the organization, but you most have spent like $500 before you even started putting stuff in the bag with all those 5x6 poutches. looks great though. gave me some ideas for my pack.
12.52 and I have to go get some duck tape to keep my head from exploding. Jimmy your attention to detail is amazing (I wish there was mandatory military training in Ireland when I was growing up, just gotta work on myself I guess). You're a shining light to us 'freshman' preppers
A great and informative video, many thanks for sharing ~Peace~
+Zed Outdoors THANKS!
Not really
Dude! This is the best BOB video I've ever seen. I almost get the Maxpedition Gyrfalcon. I'm glad I saw this video. I don't see myself building a BOB like yours, but it's a great baseline. Kudos!
MILTON CANO
Glad it gave you ideas to build yours!
@@JimmyGunXD556 you need a good compass.
That was my question...how much $$ in the packs and pouches themselves. One of those 6.6 packs is $30 itself!
mattklump What I spend on my pack should not have any relevance on your needs. Buy what you need and what you want to do.
No offense intended, man. This budget prepper was just impressed with all of your top-shelf gear.
mattklump No offense taken.
Thank you
RTEK
Great to hear. This community is about sharing ideas and gear for personal use and application for a persons specific environment. I will be doing a video of my pack on vacation shortly.
"I'm the shart king" 😂😂😂
Lol had to rewind it a few times to make sure that's what he said. Glad someone else caught it.
nooccire1 yy
After much research I personally think this is the best system for the rush 72 which I just ordered. I'm going to personalize mine to my needs of course but a lot of good information here and I am purchasing a lot of the same gear you have. Well done.
+AnimalMotherV2 Great to hear. If you make a vid of your load out let me know.
Well thought out and well executed! Good job my friend!
Happy and health New Year!
God bless & take care...
Thanks need to do an update. Happy and healthy new year to you as well.
Subscribed and looin' forward to the update!
The way I have my bag loaded out works great for me in everyday use as well as if I would need it in an emergency. I can go from calculating in the field to being in a suit to meet with new suppliers. Lint roller works great for that sport coat that been in the backseat for 4 weeks.
8:25 ...For my wife or girlfriend
LOL
This is like an apocalyptic shock trooper pack, thumbs up mate! 👍
What size Aloksak was that in your Med kit?
5x4 inch
My friend, that is a great pack! Thanks for the detailed information on all the contents. My maxpedition kodiak is a bit small but i am still able to load it up with a decent amount of gear. It takes time to collect/purchase all the proper survival gear. I will get there. Thanks again. Well done sir!
Drew4078 Thanks ! I need to do an update.
Pack more heavy duty aluminium foil... Trust me
Good work with this pack!
That's my man! SAY NO TO SPORKS! SAY NO TO SPORKS! SAY NO TO SPOR...
LOL! I only have one in the cooking can for back up because it folds away and I don't have to look at it! Thanks for your comment!
this has been one of my favorite edc vids. Nicely done and great ideas. I actually went a bought this bag because of this vid
I'll give you the money if you send me a bag like this
Me too.
+Cory Wilson Very expensive. But I would be willing to make it for you. I have changed thing over the years and can do it cheaper.
JimmyGunXD556 how can I contact you

Thank you for a great, detailed video on this pack. I just tonight decided on the rush 72 pack, instead of something from maxpedition, and then found your video on it. Good suggestions for usages of 5.11's molle attatched square pouches to keep things organized, I like your organization. Thanks again.
Thats not to heavy,
at the age of 18 i joined the basic miltary drill in germany, and i swaer full packed with all equipment we had to carry easylie over 35 kilogramms maybe more, all the day running doing pushups trhough obstacle course, and running and marching all the day long, and the fun begins again the next day :) damn that was a hard time but i loved it
Erhan Gozturk you would happen to know what that is in pounds for me And the rest of us ignorant Americans
1kg = 2.2lbs, so 35kg is right around 77lbs
Excellent review / how-to. Thank for taking the time to share. You have some great items on your pack list there…made me re-think mine!
14:50 this aged well lol
Great load out. Most complete that i have seen. People don't realize the planning work and money that goes into a 72 hour bag. Have been working on mine for a year. Not there yet.
Thanks! It takes time for sure. Mine took about a year.
this bag is Loaded!!!
Memphis 2 Houston like his underwear after a fart......
Finally, someone who understands it. It's not bad to have a big pack. As long as you can carry it go for it!
linus heathershaw
yes...if you need 50lbs of ammo to win a battle you either carry it or loose. Also people tend to forget that you can discard things in your pack per scenario.
