Not sure if humans currently after agricultural/pastoral revolution (based on competitive possessiveness over private property, inheritance, virginity and maximisation of birth rates according to antinatalism based on consent) are the most empathetic and egalitarian compared to pan paniscus society based on reactive socially functional same sex bonding and group bonding for reconciliation depending on a specific environment or all the extinct undocumented egalitarian hunter-gatherer societies. What we have now looks more like a pan troglodytes proactive political games over status and offspring.
According to personal experience some children get upset if someone asks to share.
