Sorry for the late comment but this song is basically about the consequences of fame. The band mates holding up the signs show that they miss the families that they had to abandon for the lonely life of the road. Such a deep song, following such a deep lesson. Fame isn't all that people believe it is, once you're in it, you can't escape it, families are torn from it, and so are you, the entertainer.
💞 this song. Still makes me cry lol. I know the meaning of this song is different from Danny’s reason for writing it. But for me, it’s about the struggle when you work so hard for a change in your life and it just goes horribly wrong. You want to salvage what remains, but all you can do is move on. Full of regret.. That hopeless feeling you get when you feel done with life, but you still exist and have nothing left to do but continue. It’s a feeling I know all too well lol. This song is important to me for that reason.
I think Danny does an incredible job with this song...at the end when he jumps up 4 octives...amazeballs!! Not 100% sure what the song meaning is so, not gonna speak outta place. Asking has some acoustic versions of: "Alone in a Room", "Death of Me" and "Into the fire" Not sure of copy write you may want to check out🤘
Never heard of this band... they're pretty good. I had it on in the 'background' while working on some photos.. my first thought was that the singer sounds a lot like Bryan Adams (whom I really liked back-in-the-day). Nice reaction.
@*S :) Will do... I'm trying to 'go back' and listen to at least a couple of his reactions a day. There's a ton of stuff that I'm hearing that I want to hear more of, but I haven't been able to kick my Avatar habit yet.. and tomorrow SVC is doing the entire Tampere concert w/ Nightwish, so.. lol
I love how I always see people requesting the newer stuff. No. Just no. AA isnt nearly as good after From Death to Destiny album. Some argue the one before that.
This was the last song released before the vocalist Danny Worsnop left the band in early 2015 (he came back in late 2016).
This song always gives me 80's power ballad nostalgia.

Asking Alexandria - Killing you, amazing song and video, but for some reason no one ever reacts to it
The video is too explicit.

@*S Sonny Von Cleveland. They (usually him & his wife) do at least 2 hrs. every Sunday, all NW. (And Chase Carneson does a new NW song every Sat.) :)
Never heard of them? They are one of the most popular rock/metal bands of the past 15 years.
You should do Phantom plant California
lead singer left the band
Awesome so I wasn't far away 😁🤘 thanks for watching 😁
@@infin8reactions Danny was the original singer of AA and left to do a solo career. Then came back a few years later...this I do know.
