The sad part is the RK3128 chip is very capable with the right software. Batocera supports that chip, I wonder if you could boot to it?

It can't handle *256K 4K codecs? Only HD? You do realize what this is for right? This is for emulating PSX and some N64 games at best. I don't know who in their right mind would be looking for a budget Android box for 4K anything?
Addendum- The only thing I care about is playing Saturn games maybe upconverted to 1080p. Thankfully, all of our Samsung screens do this all the way up to 4K and it looks incredible. I have a Neo Geo AES permanently connected to my 65 inch Samsung QLED in the bedroom right now. It makes the colors pop like fireworks and surprisingly the screen is never stretched out or pixelated.
The SD card seems to be a issue here , guess they added that slow class 10 cards ...
It would be nice if there was a handheld with preloaded games for C64/Spectrum/Amstrad/Amiga/Atari ST. All the handhelds and consoles just do the same games for the same consoles.
It's rather difficult to adapt computer gaming to handhelds, with mouse and keyboard being often used as input, also I suspect there's no enough demand.
with all that empty space inside you can easily fit a raspberry pi which would run all these games a lot better and throw away the board it came with. 😄
Pi is to expensive now.

It's obnoxious. If you are going to make a decent famiclone, just do that. Add filter options and some aspect ratio settings and bam. People will pay 40 for that. No need to polish a turd.

The case is very cool! But the Software and Hardware are not great. Fake PS5-Controllers would also be nice to have a real Fakestation. But better Hard- and Software are desperately needed.

I don't think anyone Cares about eight bit or sixteen bit games. When a potato can play them. They're super boring they don't suck you in. Please find something that can play playstation one and up. Only 8 bit and 16 bit games I play are mortal combat. But my catch up bottle Can't play those and I don't need another system to play those.

Oh look a fake PS5 looking console with a PS2 like controller. Then it gets a Pandora's Box type of software which will be filled with bad emulation. I still do not know who would want to use that software it is definitely not optimized for the games. Which is the reason to pass on these consoles.
