They keep comparing her to something, while I know she's wearing the colors of THE MORRIGAN, the goddess of death, war, fertility, the fae, protection. She favored working and aiding kings, one of her aspects/forms/sisters (depends on what conclusion you draw) got pregnant by a mortal and she told him her true identity. He went and told some king about her and the king ordered her to race his men while pregnant, she Gave birth on the finish line and then later cursed all the men in the king to feel the pain of child birth upon their deaths.

That’s actually incorrect scientifically and physiologically. There's just a thinner depth of contact and a much less pronounced difference between women's modal head voice and falsetto register.
I absolutely love Florence, and I really love this song. I have read about what it symbolizes for her. And I really feel that the lyrics in the verses especially are very relatable on a human level. I haven't liked how so many people have tried to politicize this song. Just my opinion though. Really happy to see people reacting to her music though. :)
