Sir! You have mentioned that idea and reason are both same in Hegel's view. But Hegel in philosophy of history said that, The cunning of reason set the passion to work for itself, while that which develops it's existence through such impulsion pays the penalty and suffer loss.(1). And sir ! as you know according to Hegel, idea is a pattern, which we can understand as in following example : suppose Ram, meet Hari. Hari send him to meet Gopal to giving a parcel. In the road Ram face an accident, but he giving that parcel to someone and ask him to deliver that at Gopal. According to Hegel Here idea' was set like options, over which no one have control. But Reason' as showed by Ram is unique over which he had control. Now put (1) in example, Giving parcel to unknown person to deliver at Gopal is completely reason (may be good or bad) that developed by Ram who is at the door of death. Again that is the reason of unknown person who turn into an instrument in the hands of 'idea'. So human reason is only instrument in the hands of idea which is eternal. Sir ! I hope you understood my point. And if I m wrong then please make me correct. Thank you

I am asking because in the upcoming generation the definition might change. If the definition changes it means the spirit is yet to get its full consciousness. 2. Since Hegel considered mind has achieved its full consciousness through German civilization, isn't it a bit supremacist? And since German state is the manifestation of God, does Hegel's philosophy influence Hitler?
