“Did Rampart survive?”
Hunter: “Unfortunately yes.” 🤣
I bursted out laughing at that part ahahaha
One small animation detail I noticed was when Echo was in Emerie's lab and scrolling through the blood scan computer to find Omega's file, he scrolls a little too fast, goes past Omega and has to scroll back. It's a really nice and relatable touch that makes the characters feel a little more 'real' for lack of a better word; who hasn't accidentally rushed past the thing they're looking for on a computer?
"What's going on"
"They found me"
"Who?"
"My brothers"
That scene really showed how much faith Omega had in her brothers eventually finding her as she herself tried to find an escape route to free those within. Having to see Omega devise a plan with the Zillo beast that was captured in season 2 makes the last episode even more epic, assuming the "calvary" refers to Rex and many other clone brothers. So having them arrive to help out plus the Zillo beast to wreck havoc from within... does it get any crazier than that? I can't even imagine Hemlock's reaction to all that's to come.
I would like to note that Echo, technically got his blue hand marking back this episode! also i thought the droid in the background was AP-5... but thank god it wasn't my boi LOL
Duuuude, you’re right! It is kind of Blue. Makes me wonder if he’s going to die? The last Domino finally falls…
The end credits name the RA-7 Protocol Droid as RA-7-81.
he was voiced by AP-5 Actor (Stephen Stanton) afterall.
Crosshair returning to Tantiss for Omega despite his fears and trauma reminds me of Omega returning to Kamino for Hunter despite being promised otherwise.
"It's like poetry... it rhymes."
I really hope they don't intend to make crosshair ultimately bend to the empire again or leave his brothers as foreshadowed by Rampart. That would destroy his whole redemption arc.
The finale NEEDS to be long because there is too much to wrap up in 25 minutes.
I can’t believe this show is coming to an end next week. It better be an hour and a half long banger with a satisfying conclusion. Also, I had no idea the guy voicing Rampart also portrayed Bode Akuna in Jedi Survivor. Wild!
EDIT: I can’t believe how many likes I got. Pays to be early!
Yeah me too. Never put the two together
He was also the Titan Squadron leader in _Star Wars: Squadrons._
And charles in red dead redemption 2
@@KongoKaiNi And Mysterio in Insomniac Spiderman 2 and many others.
@@StuartLugsden he's a great VA!
The Bad Batch has literally been a dream project for me. My dream Star Wars project ever since I was a kid was a story about the clones immediately after Revenge of the Sith, dealing with the aftermath of the war and the rise of the Empire. So to see this show end is gonna break my heart. Especially since it stars Echo, a character I’ve loved since I was 8.
Can’t wait for the finale to rip my heart in two
The Zillo beast. It is definitely playing a role in the finale and I'm ready for it
We DEFINITELY need a longer episode finale, like 45m. There's SO much they need to wrap up - the actual escape and fate of the clones; Rex/Wolffe/Gregor/Cody/Howzer - and how the former 3 came to give up the fight and live together; CX clones; Zillo beast; will Pabu be safe now; Crosshair's tremor; your point about the Commandos... literally massive amount of questions and things that need addressing. I doubt even 45m is enough time to do it properly
One thing I have to give the show massive credit for is the way it’s edited as a final season. Scenes are not edited in a way where you can tell of what’s to come through foreshadowing a potential bad event. I have literally no idea what could happen to our characters in the finale. Someone who did work on the show tweeted as much saying “our theories are not what we expect”.
Seeing that Rampart survived the crash made me believe he'd be dead weight all the way. Hearing him tell Crosshair, "You're like me. Loyal to no one but yourself," got me feeling Rampart would end up siding with the Empire again at the cost of the squad to secure his own safety for now. Seeing that he got captured makes me believe that feeling even more. I mean, we've seen the batch continously remind him of the Empire betrayal, but I still feel he may do anything to ensure he survives.
Also, Dr. Karr is finally being of some use! I loved how calm she was about the situation when she knew full well that troopers weren't supposed to be in the lab. I knew she knew who that was already, and it was such a sweet thing to hear that Omega told her all about her defective brothers. Seeing that Emerie still considers what Nala Se told her early in the season was great. Seeing her team up with Echo was even better!
I assume Echo will be the one to transmit the coordinates of Tantiss to Rex or his "Contacts" because what more data was he interested in on the science vessel? He could've escaped earlier but why did he stay behind to access more data?
It’s truly cathartic seeing Echo infiltrate Mount Tantiss to rescue and brothers and sister from being experimented on as tools since *he* knows how what that’s like.
Echo finally got a disguise, I was screaming that in my head last week.
Yeah
Dude went full Hitman
I honestly thought when he was dragging the one TK trooper into the room that we would pan and see just a pile of them like my bad runs in Hitman go
@@justintaylor1713 yeah i thought so too
I’m just surprised he can take his head thingy off
@@Luke_SkywaIker yeah...
I had a good laugh when Rampart started screaming. You can tell Nosh was having a blast while doing this.
The final episodes of the Bad Batch are similar to Rouge One. The Bad Batch infiltrating Tantiss just as Rouge One infiltrated Scarif. Echo blending in with the Empire to get coordinates and other classified other info to report back to the Rex and other rouge clones.
We are in for a crazy finale! I am stoked for what’s next.
hopefully its 1 hour+ like the season 1 premiere
I love how, after all these years, there are still people that misspell "rogue" 😂😂😂😂😂
@@JR-Mystic it was 5 am when I watched the review give me a pass lmao
@@mangojuice5777 I’m expecting 1.5-2 hour special at least
Echo finally getting a hand is the end of his character arc
If they broadcast the coordinates and the knowledge that they're experimenting on kids more clones might join Rex.
Rex will arrive for sure
I’m gonna guess that omega will teach the other kids how to connect with animals just like she was taught by asaaj. And that’s how they’ll release the Zillo beast
This was a fine episode but I had hoped that the last 3 epsiodes before the finale would have more substance/answers versus just action. Really makes me believe that while this will be the end of the Bad Batch as characters, the storylines such as Tantiss, Omega's potential, and the Clone Rebellion will be handled in a sequel show.
@joshhudson7413 I just want the main core of the Bad Batch to get the ending they deserve. If I was in charge, I would've liked to see all these lingering questions answered before the series finale but that's kinda secondary now. I don't want the last episode trying to cram the Tantiss, Omega, and Clone Rebellion stuff into what is probably the deaths of most our heroes.
It will be a total dissapointment if we left with a cliffhanger
I’m not crying I’m not crying 😭 why does it have to end
I, for one, definitely am crying.
I myself is crying I have to wait another week.
ZILLO BEAST ZILLO BEAST. Echo is so cool
Wait, Rampart is the same actor as Bode?! I had no idea!
Me neither! But now I can hear it.
We better get a 2 hour bad batch movie next week
It's gonna hurt seeing the finale next week. It feels like there's a lot of larger story questions that still need to be addressed, but I'm sure we're at least going to get a satisfying end for Omega and the rest of the Batch. I honestly don't think there will be time for anything more than that with just one episode left.
... Unless they surprise us with an hour-long episode or something
I'm hoping for "the Batcher Rebellion"... Her rallying the Lurca Hounds, as the Zillo Beast destroys Tantiss. Unless yhe base is completely destroyed, the Empire will continue to hunt Omega.
I hope the finale is 50mins+
Next week is going to be chaotic. But also really nerve-wrecking.
These last few episodes have been very focused on building up the Finale, I hope it's one hour long, I feel there's too many plot points still on the plate! I'm also expecting a new Clone series to continue Rex's story (maybe Tales of the Clones later down the line).
Next week, the cavalry arrives... At 1 AM my time 😭
12:00 am my time. I count down the minutes, even if I have to get up early next day. ⏳
You know Rampart’s scream sounded realistic when he was dropping out of the ship.
Excellent episode, don’t think I’ve seen a character with a prosthetic be written as cool as icho, since Steve Austin
Nashir Dalal has been one of my favorite actor additions to the franchise! His characters are all so fun and different! I'm legitimately gonna miss Rampart because he's so much fun to watch! Maybe if we get squadrons 2 He can come back as Grey!
Q&A: How do you see the Zillo Beast escaping and aiding in the Bad Batches escape, a parallel to something else that's occured in Star Wars?
I hope the zillo rips that mountain appart
Love that creature and the way the empire is treating it hurts me
I loved Rampart’s screams. They must have been fun to record
I think Rampart will still try to betray the Bad Batch but maybe he’ll save them at the last moment in the last episode.
I'm going to miss this show
I'm also hoping the finale manages to deliver from a character standpoint. It has been a good season, but on the whole it feels like there could've been a full other season somewhere along the way. I've wanted more development for Echo as well as more with Senator Chuchi and the general plight of the clones during this period. The focus has justifiably narrowed to the very personal Tantis rescue mission, but it feels like there's a bigger clone story to be told. Since I'm not sure if they're willing to devote another full series to the clones, right now it feels like it's on Bad Batch to deliver everything that's really needed. I'm sure the finale will be good, but I'm a little concerned that it won't feel like the ultimate culmination of the series the way that the Clone Wars and Rebels finales did.
Calling it now the Zilo Beast is gonna feast on Hemlock when Hell breaks loose. 😈
I through when rampart was running through the forest I thought he was going to be shot
Unfortunately not.
This was a vary tense episode
I really hope the finale is long like the first episode. I’m excited to see the Zillo Beast getting involved. We better see Rex and Wolffe come to the rescue and join the fight for the finale! I’m also expecting members to die which is what I’m not looking forward to. Watching The Bad Batch over these three seasons, I’ve loved seeing the squad grow, develop, and be a family. It’s gonna be devastating knowing that some of them won’t make it out alive. I think a very strong prediction as to who won’t make it is definitely Crosshair and Hunter. Omega will definitely survive, I can see Wrecker surviving. I’m not sure about Echo. It’s safe to say that Tech is officially dead. I know a lot of people were hoping he wasn’t because we didn’t see his body, so people started to speculate, but I believe it’s the best thing to keep him dead. We’ve had a lot of characters who we all presumed dead to come back alive.
Always thought the biggest disappointment with these series is the episode lengths are too short just wish the episodes were a bit longer
Judging by how Omega’s voice actress said Omega went from having an ending inserting her into the larger Star Wars story to having a bittersweet ending, releasing the Zillo Beast is going to be like when Ahsoka released Maul during Order 66. Instant benefits in the form of diversions and wiping out most of the Imperials, but the Zillo Beast has no true allegiances and is massive. If the Clones are still being broke out, many are bound to get killed thanks to the Zillo Beast and its rampage. Heck, some of the Bad Batch may also get taken out by the Zillo Beast, haunting Omega for the rest of her life.
Speaking of which, are there still Clones here? Emerie’s focus is on Omega and the kids and we still haven’t seen any Clone prisoners. I honestly wonder if after Omega’s first escape, the rest were put through the CX Reprogramming which got most of them killed and in desperation, Hemlock is going to activate the rest early to save Project Necromancer.
Echo has died once, they wouldn’t kill him again
I almost feel bad for the imperials in the next episode. ALMOST. Omega took a look at the zillo beast and went back to the other kids talkin bout “I got a plan” yeah you do right outta skywalkera handbook “war crimes for dummies”
Echo being advanced recon commando was so cool to see. I am happy Emeries have now come around.
I still fear that most of the batch won’t make it out alive. Especially with crosshair potential sacrifice and already Wrecker armor got chewed up by the beast.
This episode is great! Sure, the Bad Batch and Rampart should be dead, and Echo shouldn't be able to wear that armor quite so nicely as it looks, it reminded me a bit of his debut episode Rookies in Clone Wars where Commando Droids wear Clone Armor, it just doesn't really make sense when you start to think about it too much, but it's fun. I would like to know what happened to his implants though, I thought that was permanent, but I guess they just hook in at the back and hang on by the ears, I don't get it, but okay. The real highlight though was Omega and the kids. Good tension, and then that reveal that we are in fact getting the Zillo Beast in the Finale! YES! I'm so psyched for the Finale, I know it will be good.
I bet omega is going to release the zilo beast and then the zilo beast is going to go insane on Tantiss, emerie joining to help saving the children and omega with echo this is what I have been looking forward to it
My feelings are intense to be approaching the finale of not only the Bad Batch, but what feels like George Lucas‘s hand in Star Wars. Animation has kept that flame alive with Clone Wars, Rebels, and Bad Batch amongst many stops, starts, and continuations. But this feels like the end of an era of a storytelling vision.
The writers are cooking
Echo is such a unit. What an episode. Bring on the Zillo Beast. I really hope they bring back Cody too. They introduced him. He deserted. What a glorious comeback this would be, moreso if he feels the need to atone for his role in the formation of the Empire. But either way this finally is gonna be both EPIC and tragic. Damn this show was so good.
I think before the final episode you should list a few yes/no prediction questions for the finale and answer them (we’ll answer in the comments too), and then see how much we got right
Will the Bad Batch end like the end of Clone Wars?? It's Dave Filoni after all!!!
I definitely hope the next episode is long because there’s so much to wrap up. I get that getting to Tantis is meant to be hard, but I feel like the drew out the action too much these last three episodes. We need more time to resolve the story and characters
I love this show so much, definitely going to miss it. I really hope the finale is 1 hour like the first episode of the first season
I’m surprised they didn’t release the final episode today as well. This episode was a pants changer. From the crazy planetary entry to omega seeing the Zillo beast. The whole episode had me changing my pants.
I saw some other friends point out that you can see it in this episode, but.....am I the last one to notice there's more than one mountain/research building at the site?
Echo is wearing white meaning that he is going to die because he is the last domino to fall and dominos are white :(
i dont want you to be right, but i think you might have called it.
Omega is 100% going to use the force to befriend the zillo beast.
ik its probably not gonna happen but i hope the final episode is a hour long like the first episode was, it would be good if the series ending was as long as its beginning and also idk how they will cram all the action in the span of 20ish minutes as theres supposed to be alot going on and with this being the final episode in the series i'm kinda nervous
This season has been amazing. I'm so excited for the finale. I love this show so much, definitely going to miss it 😌🙏
Chekhov's Zillow Beast.
Now that the Bad Batch is almost over. I'm sad we didn't get to see a few characters. None that were even remotely hinted at but with certain plot points I had hoped to see them. Regarding the clones, I would have loved to see former instructors El-Les & Bric. They would have made good allies for Rex, Echo and the rest.
Regarding the Zillo Beast, I had hoped we would see Sionver Boll at some point.
They aren't big name characters but I think it would be nice to have seen them in this show.
I'm gonna miss this show. I hope the finale is at least an hour long.
This episode should have been 10 more minutes having the obligatory monster of the week interrupt the episode
fr its always a monster lol
CX troopers will become the new zillo beast. Lol where did they go????
I seriously thought that both episodes would premiere today.
I really hope the series finale is 1 hour like the first episode of the first season
I still think the CX trooper is a Crosshair clone. Crosshair will probably wind up "killing his dark half", come to terms with his trauma, calm the tremors, and have a big Last Stand sniping the hell out of the Tantiss Base troops as he covers Omega and his brothers... and die. :(
I think the CX trooper could be Tech
I'm so glad I asked next week off. I can go into that episode and not have to struggle to avoid spoilers while I am at work. Also i can't wait to watch omega unleash the zilo beast on tantiss base next episode.
Gonna sound weird but I want Rampart to be essential in at least delaying necromancer. Not out of any moral awakening but just out of spite for screwing him over.
I clicked on this video but now resisting to watch as I’ve not seen the actual bad batch episode 😂.
Not sure why I felt the need to share that.
Great content and will appreciate after I’ve watched the latest episode! 👍🏾
Omega should break the Zillo beast and cause destruction on tantiss
It only took like a dozen episodes but Echo finally got a droid hand. Like, c'mon, it was the most obvious thing. Now he needs to accessorize!
Great Episode, Truly felt longer than it was and it sets up the Finale perfectly!
I think Rampart switching sides and Crosshair shooting him would make kore sense. It be kind of dark but also funny if they do it right
The sequel should focus on Rex and be called The Clones’ War
Are we ever going to see Tech come back?
I love that
This was terrific, my favorite episode so far.
Back in identity crisis when Scorch stunned “the male specimen” and said he was following protocol the first thing that popped into my head was Gregor and Scorch having a showdown.
EDIT-Especially if he’s as disgusted by Scorch facilitating the holding and experimentation on children as Echo was when he found out.
Thanks, Alex! 💠
What about Ventress? Will we see Ventress in the series finale? I would love that!
Thanks for another great review
That was a fantastic episode!! So excited for next week!!! Also what happened to Batcher?
Most likely still on Pabu or with Phee.
@@mrbyzantine0528 hopefully! 🤞🏻
Echo finally got a new hand.
Tbh I’m worried about this ending because there’s way too much to be wrapped up in one episode
Finally Echo gets a new hand, well new to him hand
I think the final episode is going to be similar to Rebels season 1 Vader going to appear and maybe execute Dr. Hemlock for fail the Emperor.
atm i think rampart is going to die perhaps holding back some enemy reinforcements but for sure would be cool to see join the early rebellion
The series finale better be one hour long likw the first episode or im gonna riot
I am still holding out hope that Tech is alive and somewhere, soon to be discovered.
Get lost
This was a great episode in my opinion and I am so excited for the series finale!
Anyone who wants to do experiments on people is so horrific. Reminds me of the Nazi doing experiments on the Jews during the holocaust. I really hope that Omega makes it and one at least of the clone force 99.
star wars explained It was a great episode 🙂
I thought it looked like multiple Zillow beasts
Well guys be prepared for next Wednesday One last ride with Clone Force 99
but isn't crosshair saving rampart proving your point that he cares for more than himself...why does he have to prove he cares for all clones for him to be redeemed...that fact that he's on tantiss is enough of a redeemer to try and save omega...isn't that enough ??
1. The Batch feel believe they still need Rampart to help infiltrate the base. Otherwise there's no reason to bring him along. Crosshair saving Rampart would be a tactical move, not a humanitarian one.
2. Crosshair stated plainly that his main reason for rescuing Omega was because she didn't leave him behind. Thus, that is ALSO not a selfless decision.
Alex is saying he wants to see Crosshair reach the point of saving others simply because it is the right thing to do. Not because it's someone you owe or someone you need for tactical purposes.
@@JR-Mystic whether he does it for himself or the greater good, crosshair is recognising what is important and making a decision based on the importance of his group. People just don’t get over trauma and see everything in a perfect scenario The way Alex wants it to happen. Bro not because he has a channel means he’s right, the man has trauma and still battling that but Alex’s concern is for crosshair to prove that he has to go out his way to prove he can do something for all clones to be be redeemed. Is that how rehabilitation really works! No
I want to know what happened to that lady storm trooper in Crosshair’s squad.
Only concern I have is season finale is so short
