Update! I made a mistake. The channel 6 news building actually first appeared in the very first episode Turtle Tracks around the 11:05 mark. The building is shown in a wide shot and it appears different than the one featured in Return of the Shredder.
Wow, that was cool. It's like a documentary film about recurring character cast of that show. Tremendous amount of work and time to put every detail together. Thank you so much for such unique kind of content. As for the set itself - it's not as cool as other releases, but for the opportunity to get a momentary collection with one set is very enjoyable. It's not so overpriced as many others would thought, but I have almost no complaints about buying it. Unfortunately, my Catwoman had a very stiff elbow joints and quite cheap paint job, which even after heating is pretty bad looking, so I had to paint the hinges myself. And as far as I know, this problem is quite often can happen with the preorder case. Also I had to sew my Irma a soft cloth skirt, cutting with a scissors the rubber one. But at least it helps to increase the potential of the figure. Almost all of the accessories are great and useful for a display (especially the cat, since it was also on a dial of a muta-zoo ray, which helps to collect the decent amount of animals and insects from the cartoon. Now I only need a donkey). The only disappointment in this set for me is that so popular character like Irma, which had so much solo-based episodes, doesn't have a specific accessories from them - the terminator head, the pill with the meteorite remnants or an ice cream, a Rambo head or smth. About April mutation - since Bebop and Rocksteady had the installed coordinates, the were just brought to the set place, the cat just tampered with the atomic energy without the location course, which made it and April to mix some molecules and since the power of muta-transporter is not on the same level as the desintigrator unit in the Technodrome - the effect was temporary.
Always happy to see you comment! I didn’t think about the cat on the Mutazoo ray but that’s an awesome connection. They really could have made Irma a deluxe figure. I think all of the accessories you listed would have been great. Maybe they could have a two pack of Irma with the terminator where you can remove her head and replace it with the terminators. I just think they should release a full body version of it. That sucks about your Catwoman. Her tiny joints really worry me. You made the right choice with her skirt. Toy companies give women vinyl skirts all the time and they never work well. I know I had old marvel legends or dcuc figures that had that problem, but I don’t remember which because I got rid of them.

Great review once again. That channel 6 building truly been through a lot throughout the old series. Irma was such a fun character in the old series. She was like a female Steve Urkel. In the 2012 series, part of me wished they kept Irma as a human character and ally to the turtles, rather than her being reviewed as a Kranng. And I would’ve loved to see a 2012 version of Vernon. Maybe have him be an upperclassman of April, or even maybe April could work as Vernon’s intern for the channel 6 building. The red sky episode truly changed things. So did you have the chance to play the new TMNT game shredders revenge, it’s awesome. And are you looking forward to the TMNT collection?
I think it would have been cool if the Turtles found a real Irma being held captive by the Krang after they defeated the fake one. I haven’t played shredders revenge yet. I preordered the physical version on the switch so I may buy the digital version on the ps4. It looks awesome. I’m really excited about getting the tmnt collection. I have most of the games, but it’ll be great having them on my switch.

This a great set but a second head sculpt for Irma and a regular head for April for everyone who missed out on the regular release would have taken this set over the top. That said I love this line. Cool channel bro.

I understand that the double-jointed elbows stick out but I use that added articulation a lot. I don't think I ever noticed that letter E, but I see it now! - Go ahead and make a diorama! I made one, you can check it out on my IG - April is definitely out of scale, its not just the height - her itty bitty hand look completely out of place - I hated when Batman Returns stole that plot! #justicefortmnt - Burne's expression is definitely a bit too cartoony as you say. I've long suspected that both him and Irma got very expressive profiles because NECA was saving more neutral head sculpts for potential re-releases, which is why at first I wasn't planning to get this set. - As an adult I actually PREFER to watch scenes with the Channel 6 crew to random mutant action and stuff. - I'm not crazy about variants but I definitely would like a Super Irma - I agree with almost all your criticism about the Irma figure (except the cloth skirt) but I still think it's excellent all things considered - Yes, Tiffany would have been great - Those studio cameras were definitely a selling point for me. But also I kind of resented them a little for "forcing" me to make a dio - I wish Gary would stop being such an a-hole!!!

Someone should make an open-world TMNT video game that let's you explore and see how all the landmarks from the cartoon are tied together in one continuous environment. It would be a big project, but I know it would be possible because other games (like Batman and Spiderman) have been able to do it.
I’d like a cartoon O’Neil on a bike & that assassin bot who was after kermy. But hopefully I get the hulk frog *(nepoleon???) & jersey red + the gang. Oh …& space Donnie this year. But definitely spending less in 23’…darn ! I’ll need SOTO shredder & keno.

I'm hoping at some point they release Burne and Irma down the line, most like in two packs (I can imagine them release Burn with his girlfriend at least).
