I love the concept of Julie being a foil to Sara, especially at the end where she sings about how far Sara has fallen as she sees the extent of her carnage. This is really a brilliant take on this song and all of the performers really kick ass.
i love the ending with sara singing on her own begging everyone for votes. and i really like that they actually had someone else singing as the dad. it’s more like watching the events happen rather than hearing someone else talk about it.
I like how in the final chorus, 'Julie' tells Sara how far she's come. As if to say, "Good for you, Sara. Are you happy now?" And the part where she is pushed away and everyone behind her sings and promotes Julie as prom Queen - not because of eliminated competition, but because she was strong in the face of a traumatic situation. It's almost as if the surviving students are cheering and celebrating Sara's arrest and it doesn't just feel like a song. It feels like a story!
this is so good. I can't believe people were talking during it.

Omg that Sara at the end that was amazing
Having Julie Jenkins be the villain it's such a fun New take that I've never seen before, Bravo!
The crowd really do be like “yeah gurl” after she brutally murdered six women in cold blood.
Ikr I wouldn’t trust anyone in that room 😂
*THIS LOOKS AMAZING!*
IT MUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING LIVE!
It was a great number. Very creative choreography and talented performers in the Alice Austin theatre on the Geneseo campus.
