Hi Sheila/Dennis, had a ball in Alaska even though the weather didn't cooperate on the South bound leg. It was fun meeting Patty and John in Maine thanks for the tip.

The 5 mile hike with Ken on the North bound leg to the cemetery in Skagway was the excursion I’ll remember.

Tina Turner passed away while we were on our Alaska cruise. The singer in the main piazza performed several of her songs the next night. Lots of cheers for Ms. Turner ❤.

Hi J, yes we had a great time in spite of the rain. Really enjoyed the train ride in Skagway. And you're right, the excursion in Vancouver was a lot of fun and it took us to the airport. When is your next cruise?

Always enjoy watching your videos. We did this cruise in June of last year southbound to Vancouver. Had great weather. It was right at the end of the covid restrictions and having to test prior to disembarking. Boy those were fun times! Alaska is such a great cruise and look forward to doing it again and again. This year no cruise. We are going to portugal for 11 days. Could never find a good cruise that spends enought time in portugal. Mostly transits from Southampton to and from the Mediterranean. As far as cruising we are sitting at Diamond Plus and I think thats probably where we will be for years to come. Only time will tell! What is your next cruise?

Hi Todd thanks for watching. Building a house this summer so my next cruise is not until Oct doing a seven night out of Venice (Ravenna) ending up in Rome and then staying on the ship back to Cape Canaveral. On the Explorer. Alaska was great but could have done with a little less rain. Oh well can’t complain about an Alaskan cruise.

@@RetiredRoaming Very true about the weahter but you know it kinda makes it more extreme and what you would expect from alaska although it sure does hamper many of the excursions. It was my 3rd time so ive done all the touristy things. Think the next time we go will really get off the beaten path. Next year gonna I think we will do an israel and greek isle cruise. Good luck building your new home!
