Hey Tim! I'm blessed by the RUclips algorith to have seen this video in my recommended. Absolutely gorgeous car, would love to own one someday when I'm not absolutely broke. This is my first time here , absolutely lovely channel, great production quality, great narration. I'd love to see you grow exponentially, you absolutely deserve it!

My friend, it’s comments like this that keep me moving forward. It’s been a bit of a slog at times. You can absolutely have a car like this one day! The economy can’t always be this broken🤣 . Can’t thank you enough for the comment . Here is hoping RUclips suggests my videos a bit more often in the future. Next video is my Ferrari 348 so subscribe for more . Cheers!

I fell in love with the 155 playing Gran Turismo. I remember falling in love with your car when you brought it to Crown Dublin for the Alfa meet a couple summers ago. Just a gorgeous car and in such fantastic shape.

Thanks for the review, it really resonates with me. I own a 155 2.0 TS 16v here in South Africa since 3 years old. I have always loved it and the touring car connection, could never bear to part with it in all those years. Just love the styling too.

Hi Tim. Thanks for posting this vid!!
    I also have a 155 2.0 16v T.S.
I've owned the car for 2 years. It was an original Japanese market car, and lived there it's entire life, until being imported in Nov/Dec '21. I was able collect the car in early Feb '22.
My car is also a very lightweight spec. An original sport pack 2 car with cloth, no sunroof, 5 star Speedline wheels & blue tinted glass.
    Since ownership,
I've modified mine with coilovers, Silverstone/BTCC front spoiler, CAI with BMC cone filter from a GT3 cup car, and other BTCC type rice parts (hood pins, OMP trunk latches, exhaust heat shield, window banner and half tint on the front windshield, mono wiper, etc..)
I have an original Silverstone/BTCC rear spoiler that I refurbished and plan to install.
So far, the car has been a blast to own. Very reliable, quick despite being only 150hp. These are amazing cars, and RUclips and TikTok scream "Buso", but (like you) IMO the 2.0 16v is the one to have!!!
So much bang for the money.
On that note, I have mine with an agreed upon value of 30k.
My buddy has a Euro spec '85/86 190 Cosworth, and while it is "faster", the 155 feels more nimble and "quicker"!!
If you ever find yourself in NE PA, hit me up.

@@TheAmishSasquatch i would love to see some pics of your car, particularly the engine bay! I’m on Instagram maybe dm me there. I’m actually in the Lancaster / lititz area fairly often so there is a chance. It sounds like we agree on the cars strong points!! Cheers!

@TimsEnthusiastGarage I'll see what I can do. Are there any shots of the bay that you want in particular?
My car has several of the Japanese service date stickers and such.
My family lives in Ephrata/Denver PA, so I and the car are down there pretty regularly too. I'll try and reach out. Thanks for the reply.

What a car you have, Tim! Amazing. I’m 36 now. When I was 16 my dad allowed me to drive his red 155 on abandoned parking lots, although you have to be 18 to drive in Europe. So my first kilometers ever were in a 155. Ever since I’m in love with the 155.
Also watching DTM races as a little boy contributes for the 155 love.
    Enjoy yours!

I had a 155 V6 back in the 90's in Alfa Rosso that looked exactly like yours.
I replaced the wheels which were in poor shape with white 6 spoke 17" rims. The car had been lowered by three previous owner so when the wheels were changed, it really gave it that Touring Car look.
I also replaced the exhaust with a custom built stainless steel system. That thing sounded amazing. I've never had a car since that sounded so good.
It went pretty well too. Very free-revving.

They have a spirit about them. A mate has a V6 and I need to have a proper go in it. It didn’t feel any quicker than the 4 but the exhaust was stock. Any busso noises would have changed my mind ! Thanks for watching and for sharing your 155 story!! 17” wheels would def bring the DTM vibes! Cheers!
