My God!!! what a recording. Ajoy ji at his fluent best. Just see how effortlessly he sings. He just smiles as some breath taking taans and sargams are coming out...my god. Prostations to Haidar Adina ji..You show the way to the temple of music and Ajoy ji is the God of Music
We are lucky that we are born at such time that we could listen this great legend. He simultaneously educates the listeners. He is so liberal in telling the secrets of the vocal art. We are thankful to the person who loaded this raag.
And his daughter is making him proud too. Awesome!!!

Aha! Guruji has merged into Divine Form in this performance! 🙏 One of my favorites to return to. Have been listening to this Fremont Collection for a very long time now, and only now am writing.
The environment of a home mehfil describes everything! It is truly where any artist performs, sings, and offers his or her best music, for, at the time of a home mehfil, the music no longer is from artist to audience but from human being to human being, heart to heart. Guruji would not easily sing like this in a formal stage setting, because there, time restraints bind music, stage lights blind the artist. But, home mehfils like these are beyond time - a fact that has produced this deep Marwa that touches everyone of us. If you look at the whole Fremont Collection (this Marwa, including the Shuddha Kalyan, Kedar, Thumris, and Hansadhwani), Guruji has sung for a little more than 3 whole hours, and not a single second is lacking in the most sweet, flowing melody!
I feel that those 3 hours allowed Guruji to offer all of his Sadhana in an organic, blossoming way that could not be done in a 1 hour and a half stage performance. And that is why I keep on coming back. Even though his other performances are like Talim for me, this Fremont one shows me every corner and aspect of his Riyaz like no other performance does, and there is a wellspring of inspiration in that. Therefore, we must not only thank the artist for this musical shower of blessings, but also thank the environment, nature, and audience of the performance that allowed him to open up his big musical heart. In this performance, he even touched a little child! That alone is one of the highest blessings! (this is in the Shuddha Kalyan and Kedar portion).
Hopefully, this tradition of home mehfils continues on. It is the most ideal for musicians to relate their true Khayal (imagination) to the world of Rasikas. A thousand and more thanks to Haidar Adina Sir for making this Divine experience available! 🙏🙏

پندت جی عمرت دراز باشد ماروا را که در سال ۱۹۸۷ خوانده بودید بسیار عالی بودو حرف نداشت مگر به نظر شخصی بنده هرمونیه به اندازه بالا بود که از صدا شمابلند ومزه نداشت وشما متوجه آن زیاد بودیدو در آخر از محترم ادیبنه صاحب تشکر میکونم که چند از فیدو پندت جی را(ماروا ،شد کلیان ،کیداره وپیلووپاری را در یوتوب تقدیم نموده هید ممنون شما میباشیم و از خداوند ج عمر تان را دراز می خواهیم آرزوی سلامتی تان را تمننا میکونم

Wah wah! What a sublime and divine rendition of Marwah!! Harmonium was too loud and jarring to the ears. Samar da was in his usual element! The person recording the video has not panned the camera to cover Samar da!
