      Truth bombs? He compared GER with literacy rate, when GER is about enrollment in +12 education. Don't you consider a 10th pass or a 12th pass as literate? Then he deliberately hid so many facts about BD and it's economy. He has been massively misleading, and one can only wonder why.

      RN Bhaskar, an economics professor whom I personally know from my time at Jadavpur University, comes across as a rather disapproving figure. Having a strong inclination towards leftist ideologies, he consistently expresses a pessimistic view about India. His critiques often target India's political and economic landscape, while he tends to favor authoritative regimes, particularly evident in his admiration for China's political system. I distinctly recall his support for Mamata Banerjee's economic policies during her tenure as the Chief Minister of West Bengal. It's important to approach his views with caution, as he is known to present data selectively, sometimes inaccurately, contributing to a skewed perspective. As someone who has distanced myself from leftist ideologies, I encourage others to independently research and understand the intricacies of a country's economy, urging skepticism towards Bhaskar's viewpoints. 🙏

      @@madhabghosh7018 you're absolutely correct. You see, his prediction on GDP growth has gone wrong. India is growing at 7+
      I too have seen how the leftist idea has ruined Bengal. And less spoken of Mamata Banerjee is better.
      Hearing him a lay person will conclude that nothing is going good for India. It's a very bleak picture.
      He might be right in certain things, but he did not discuss about the farm laws which would have really benefitted the farmers.

    • @madhabghosh7018

      @@santa4091 Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It seems like you're interested in our country's economy, especially with a focus on achieving greater growth for a brighter future. In my opinion, a growth rate of 7% is insufficient for attaining the status of an economic superpower; I believe we need to aim for growth rates between 10% to 12%. I appreciate the efforts of the current government in this regard. However, it's important to remain cautious of certain influences, particularly those from certain quarters, like Lifts, who can be manipulative, especially when it comes to data interpretation. Having been part of Lifts previously, I've witnessed firsthand their inclination towards outdated ideologies and their tendency to romanticize past eras, such as the 70s and 80s, often overlooking issues like poverty and casteism.

      If the government of the day does not like questions and suggestions how will there be any improvement. An eye opener is the farmer agitation where the govt was not willing to listen and nearly 800 farmers died. Govt focus is not development of human resources but on frivolous things like renaming cities, places, Hindu rashtra, hindu-muslum hate and building mandirs. India has 2 million mandirs already still we want to build more mandirs. Focus should be building more schools, hospitals, good laboratories, skills building.

      Kurien helped organise the milk industry in india. He copied technology for the dairy industry, setup processes, systems, built organisations etc. But he also made mistakes and was ignorant of a few things like.
      1-- a caged animal cannot produce the same healthy stuff as a freely grazing animal.
      2-- u cannot take the milk of another species for life when even the host species drinks it only at its initial growing stage. The body will automatically react in the form of auto immune disease called diabetes 1 or 2.
      3-- you cannot alter the components of milk by removing them away or adding altered substances such as milk powder, soy etc and hope to get the same benefits from homogenisation, pasteurisation, milk powder etc as from fresh milk, fresh buttermilk, fresh curd etc
      4-- you cannot rape an animal thru artificial insemination repeatedly and not incur karmic debt
      5-- you cannot over produce milch cattle and then abandon them after over exploiting them for the first few years.
      6 -- the problems of transporting milk over longer distances may be mitigated by innovative solutions like refrigerated trucks or small sized plastic bags but ultimately will have costs like environmental disposal costs, health costs of a stale food or unnecessarily eating a wrong substance for an extended period of time etc

    The thing I understood from this was that how milk farmers are being protected by the cooperative system and how others, wheat/rice/vegetables farmers, are getting suppressed by the monopolies/mafia. If the simple cooperative structure gets applied to all the other agricultural fields then definitely the farmers will never need to protest like they did last year.

    This podcast cleared my thoughts on balance of economy, our country's real strength. Our leaders should consider this for real development, not voting game player. Thanks to Shri RN Bhaskarji for so much insights about our Nation vs world and China. He seems visionary. So practically explained India and China's relationship with Russia with opportunities to grab. And finding our opportunity with neighbouring countries.
    Education with skills and talent are must.
    Govt subsidy and aid policy game for voting is destructive to the people in terms of their skills, quality of working, talent, self employment. Many changes and development occurs with the current government ideology but its really not enough for creating our vision of being leader into reality. Our Government should address the issue raised by the author.

    @rajshamani that is so true what he speaks .being an NRI I can say , EDUCATION should be our first priority because it takes out half of the burden and time that consumes for parents to earn that much of money to put children’s to school , 1 lakh for a kindergarten and then it goes on and on …. Here in western countries 0-12 is being taken care of govt and he will be prepped up to life and motor skills and then he/she goes on with their interest of choice.!! When you take off this burden from parents they can spend time with children they can think about other things if the govt schools are at-least par with private schools . When this things happen I am ready to move back to India . The whole brain drain will come back .! Till today not one leader from winning party spoke about that , it’s all about boasting their own interests

    One of the Sanskrit scriptures that promotes non-violence towards animals is the "Taittiriya Upanishad." It is a sacred text of the Hindu tradition and is considered a part of the Yajur Veda. In one of its sections, known as the "Ananda Valli," it contains verses that emphasize the principle of non-harming and advocate for the protection of all living beings. Here is an excerpt from the Taittiriya Upanishad:
    "Ahimsa paramo dharmaḥ, non-violence is the highest duty;
    Dharma himsa tathaiva cha, violence done in the name of duty is not true righteousness;
    Ahiṁsā paramaṁ dharmaṁ, non-violence is the ultimate righteousness;
    Sarva-bhūteṣhu yaḥ paśyati, one who sees all beings as oneself;
    Sa pashyati mukham aham, truly sees the face of the Divine."
    This verse teaches that non-violence (ahimsa) is the highest moral duty and should be practiced in thoughts, words, and actions. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of all beings and encourages individuals to see themselves in all living creatures. By promoting non-violence and compassion towards animals, this scripture encourages adherents to lead a life of empathy, kindness, and respect for all forms of life.
    We live in this world with the feeling वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम
    we cannot treat animal for just a business , you can make buisness but treat it well after its not giving you buisness.
    If you someday don't work would your son sell your organs to others when you are alive.
    Treat animals like family when you generated money out of it.

    Some factual corrections regarding Dr Vegheese Kurien
    1. Dr Kurien was sent to study pasteurisation by Indian government. His uncle John mathai was finance minister in the Nehru cabinet.
    2. The period in which he built milk production capacities of kheda district in Gujarat was after the independence.
    3. She was born two and effluent Syrian Christian family in Kozhikode in Kerala. He was not an abandoned child.
    For reference read his autobiography, I too had a dream.
    P.s.- Please fact check claims before they are on your youtube platform.😊

    This is the SAD part of our education system AND the IGNORANCE of US. Raj doesnt and many of the listeners didnt know VARGHESE KURIEN.
    We as a system and as a society are FAILING to focus on the REQUIRED(IMP.) things, traits, values and skills.

    Education has been globally disseminated through religion and its institutions. In India, this responsibility was entrusted to Brahmins/Pandits/Prophets. Unfortunately, they have failed us, resulting in India being one of the most undereducated societies in the world today. This community's actions have contributed to India's impoverishment as it seeks to uphold its dominance over its resources. During Congress's governance, education was expanding, and the supremacy of the upper castes was diminishing. BJP has reversed this process. Today, Sosodia is in Jail because he started giving quality Free education to all Delhites, and the Brahmins of the RSS variety did not like it.

    If India is want to grow then we have to-
    1. Educate Indians in every possible way. Such as whereas summer workshop to teach financial freedom,
    assess to internet even in schools show them real life examples.
    Focus on practical knowledge, taught them values, ethics, culture, heritage, and the resources that we have.
    2. In 20's we have to experiment multiple things and find our own niche where we actually grow. No matter what you like, it might be farming, job, professional, business or even awareness.
    3. Less wastage of natural resources, and more use of natural energy.
    If government is not there but we can help ourselves. 😊
    I hope it make sense. Thank you Raj for the episode even with cough. Get well soon.😊
