The Family was angry around that Rivalry Weak Play time, but we did thrive from then on BUCKEYES ALIVE..... Fans got big behind the 11, and DAY before the game. paying $5K per seat
Excellent breakdown, but can we please admit that OSU clearly went to "protect" mode and became very conservative on both offense and defense after Emeka fumbled. There was a clear shift in play-calling which allowed ND back in the game. I know folks want to try to look like good winners, but the only reason ND got back in the game was that Kelly and Knowles went ultra-conservative in the gameplan after the fumble when the score was 34-7
Yeah but the thing is, we had built up such a lead that the best thing to do was to just RUN DOWN THAT CLOCK. Keep it ticking. You’re not going to milk the clock passing on every down.
The most glorious film study In some ways Notre Dame was the perfect opponent for the finale. They play ball like a certain team we saw earlier and this was a good way to show improvement. I know I know their DLine isnt as good as that other team but their defense overall is close enough
This has to be CGI, it is so other worldly in this cool break down of these 5 layer plays and more. THANK YOU, Warrior. Just won thing to add. It was a Dance, like a ballet' on so many plays, Or some Warrior tactics from old battle concepts. used here, "" AGAINST the World". This "Day" we won one by all of these cats on quick feet, these Red Squirrels, going "Buck-Nutzz" for an hour of a lifetime. Tell Ryan Day and staff and the entire Game Support systems.... for sure, We did it for the NATTY
On the first OSU offensive play breakdown, it looked like if Trey bounced it to the outside and followed Inniss it would've been him and Inniss against 1 Irish... that safety was flatfooted when he couldn't see Trey behind the line
Irish are an enigma. They played not to lose for 3 quarters, till the fourth when they started slinging it around and looking dangerous. Riley can throw it, why do they claim he can't and limit their offense to a bunch of running, even when their best runner is banged up?
Notre Dame looked like they were playing handicapped. It’s remarkable what they were able to do with their injuries. Very very tough team and prob going to be a problem moving forward for other teams.
As you are aware with man free the db should have outside leverage . On Greathouse’s TD vs man free it APPEARS as if Hancock is head up (according to the hash mark). Maybe the camera angle. Just looks weird.
It’s hard because Riley is so good running the ball that you need at least two hats on him in the red zone. That last second shovel is nearly unstoppable.
You can maybe argue that Styles overcommits a bit and should have trusted sawyer to contain that outside edge by himself. But honestly, the O Line blocked that play so well it’s pretty much impossible to stop unless you know it’s coming
Wait! Who won the National Championship? Who? Are you sure? With all of the comments that I have seen since January 20th, I thought that TTUN won the title. That team's fans are the worst. They are. They blame us for the hatred. They aren't worth their oxygen. They hate it because they know that even if they beat our squad, their squad most probably will not be relevant in the Natty race for at least a decade. Most xichigan fans have zero class.
Thank you Kyle. I look forward to your breakdowns. Until next season.
Go bucks love yall like we family we done been through so much hate, etc… but we all stayed loyal go bucks we finally got our natty

18:59 hinzman’s reaction with montgomery is epic.

These film studies are awesome!
That final offensive drive had me stressing so hard at first ngl seeing Will run it twice hahah. I appreciate all these film break down videos

That JTT play at the 7:00 mark is basically how Knowles used the Jack position at Oklahoma State.
Yep. They haven’t called it that ( largely because he’s using both guys to do it), but post Oregon v1, they changed to his D Line structure

Because the defense wouldn’t allow it until they got too aggressive in the 4th quarter.
And Leonard missed 3 wide open receivers by a country mile earlier in the game.
@@theomarceau8251I suspect this has a lot to do with it.
Coaching staff lost confidence in the pass until they had no other choices
Ohio State defense also bailed Dame late in second half with crucial penalties that moved the chains for Dames offense

I'm only 7 1/2 mins in.... S.O.B shoulda ran this plan on TTUN. LoL
How long do you suppose Ohio State has been sitting on that foot alignment “rule” in order to use this play?
Is there something the defense should have done differently on the shovel pass or is that just good coaching on offense?
