This was a really good one year reflection. I've watched a lot of them today, including the two you mentioned, and this one made me feel very hopeful. You're right about everything you said about him and I'm really glad that we have such a great legend to pass on in the Minecraft/RUclips community. People like Techno are so rare and so often the worst humans are exalted on the internet but just this once, we were blessed with an incredible person doing incredible work that had incredible success. I haven't really watched you before but it sounds like you're a lot like him. Technoblade set us all up for lots of different kinds of success with his content by inspiring us the way he did. I hope you find that success yourself. :)
nothing can replace techno and his legacy, but people like you parker are the ones that can honour what he has contributed to the community of minecraft and beyond, and that starts with your speedrunning commentary. In it's own way it has the same humour and appeal as technoblade's skywars videos and always brings a smile to my face at his memory
It has been really hard for me, and I bet a lot of people can relate to this. I have always thought how much he changed us as people, as a community, and it has felt really weird, especially since I never knew him. The closest I got was being one of his hundreds of thousands of viewers on his stream chat. It has felt really wrong for me having the blow hit so hard, especially when I think that there are so many more people that knew him better. Technoblade Never Dies
I´m rembering this day... when techno died I woked up , did some morning things and went on youtube, techno uploaded a new video "So long nerds" and I started watching and in like 1 minute I started just crying and I didnt know what to do... Ngl, Techno meant so much to me. He was a part of my childhood and it's sad that I can't watch any of his videos without shedding a tear. I remember when I found his content for the first time, I was in a hospital because I broke my arm really badly(surgery and all that stuff). I couldn't sleep so I started watching some YT and he popped up in my recommended with a Blitz Survival Games episode. I literally binged all his videos in one night because it distracted me from the pain and I have been a fan ever since. I just loved him just talking about his life while shitting on people in whatever gamemode. I miss him..
I didn't watch Techno before he passed, but after I heard the news I started to watch him and other MCYTs, and now I know so much more about Minecraft and the MCYT community. It's so sad to think about, but I'm really happy the community is honouring him. Rest in peace, Technoblade never dies
I honestly can’t believe that it’s been a year since the legend passed away. I’m very glad the Rekrap posted this video because we all need to be reminded of how great and inspiring TechnoBlade was. The Legend Never Dies. 🐷👑😢
Thank you so much for an incredible. I’m actually writing my college essay on the same topic, and appreciated knowing that I was not the only one who felt this way despite having little to no direct connection to Techno.
First video I ever watched of Technoblade was a Mega Walls video. I watched him since I was about 11, and now I'm in college. I remember me and my friend got killed by him in a BSG game once, and it was great. It's weird to see someone that you enjoyed watchin and who inspired you pass away. You never met them, you were never friends, and they never even knew you existed, yet they still managed to play an important role in your life
Man, its strange to think its been a year. It makes me so sad to think that Techno's legend is done growing, but Im happy to know that his legacy will live on. He died a hero to many people
I was on vacation in Missouri the time tecnoblade died, I was just eating breakfast and my brother came to me and said that tecnoblade was gone. I didn’t believe him at first cause I didn’t know he was going thru cancer but when I got back to our apartment and saw the video, without even watching it I started crying. I don’t even know why, I had only seen a few Videos at the time but it was just so terrible for me and I pay respects to the people who actually knew him I can’t imagine what they went through. Technoblade never dies!
I remember when my mom told me he died. I was on a road trip in the US (I’m from Canada) so I had my cell data turned off. My mom told me the news and I felt pressured not to cry because my brother disses me for liking mcyt. When she told me, a big part of my life died along with him and I felt so alone with nobody that would understand me. RIP king, Technoblade never dies. ❤❤❤
The one small light I manage to find in all of this is that he had the drive and passion to do all that he did, so that we all could know him just a little and love him an awful lot in the time that we had him. I still can hardly process that he’s gone, and I know that many others feel that tenfold, but I can’t help but be grateful that the stars aligned in such a way that we all got to witness his shining light before he passed, I think you’re completely right in calling him a legend, and as long as we keep enjoying his stories Technoblade truly will never die.
This guy puts effort in this topic even he isn't linked with the topic. It's nice to see you speaking about a person that was THE legend.❤ TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES. Because he will be remembered every single year.
I don't usually feel sadness when I hear about celebrities passing, I didn't feel anything when my own grandfather stopped remembering who I was, or when he passed away. I don't know how and I don't know why, but every time I think about Technoblade, I just break down. Even today, watching this video a year later, I still cried. You are right, rek. Technoblade was and is a legend. It's even in one of his more popular phrases, he never dies.
he didnt give us up he didnt let us down he didnt run around and desert us. he didnt make us cry he didnt say goodbye he didnt turn around and hurt you. he will not be forgotten ❤
I felt EXACTLY how you did - the sudden realisation, sadness, tears and the weird feeling of "is it okay to cry for someone I don't really know?". Thanks for making this video. It really validates the empty feeling of losing a content creator you never met. I will never forget the community's reaction to it though - you could really see the legacy he left behind. That was the final push I needed to start my channel. Technoblade never dies!
i got the same thing, i knew him but i wasn t his #1 fan, but when i woke up, saw the video, watched it i went for a bike ride and in the middle of the road i stopped and started crying
I loved all of Techno's videos. I've watched all of them so, so many times, I've even watched most of his stream vods multiple times. In my friend group I was always 'the Technoblade guy'. Everyone knew I loved Technoblade. _That video_ was uploaded in the middle of the night in my time zone. I woke up in the morning, prepared for school like I would any other day, and just as I was about to leave, I looked at my phone, to see a notification from RUclips that Techno had uploaded a video. I just read the title of the video and immediately knew what was up. I didn't have time to watch the video though, because I would have been late, and frankly, I simply didn't want it to be true. I went to school, thinking of it throughout the entire day, trying to distract myself, trying to ignore it somehow. When I got home that day I went to my computer to see a discord DM from one of my close friends, asking if I was doing alright, because she knew how much Techno meant to me. I said I was OK, and then finally, reluctantly watched the video.
i dont watch techno much when he was still alive but once he died... it just hits hard I enjoyed him if I was hurt this much from a guy I didn't really watch I could dare to even think of how much his dad and friend went through yet he still was not forgotten thanks alex for how much you helped us
When ever I watch a technoblade tribute, I get a little emotional, but then I somewhat get stronger inside, and reflecting on technoblade's death has made me realise time and time again to stop giving in to the pains I suffer now. And this video is one of the best....
It’s always nice to see a raising star a upcoming legend honoring one of the best pvp players and funniest people on RUclips and a legend to say the least
Such a nice and understandable talk, without giving the feeling of getting clickbaited or doing it for clicks. It's easy to see your love to technoblade!
You replicated my exact feelings about techno. I found your channel only a few weeks before "so long nerds" and it hit me hard because he was definitely my idol and favorite RUclipsr. I just wanted to say that you helped me reconcile back then and now and I see so much of technoblade in you.
Well, I just finished crying at Tommy’s tribute, guess I’m going in for round two. But in all seriousness, thank you for making this. I think we were all impacted in some way by Techno’s passing, so thank you for sharing yours. We will never forget Technoblade. He will never die. o7
ngl, you already are also a legend to some people. you are one of the kindest persons on youtube alongside the ryan trahan and i really like the energy in your videos and your persistence in doing what you love to do like your grind in speedrunning. one day you will hit 10 million and you wont stop growing and getting more fans and i'm looking forward it
SAD-ist’s “technoblade” video made me cry. He was my favorite at the time and to see such a great man fall was heart breaking… It’s good that you made this video, being late is better than not showing up at all!
As a wise man once sed “A person is never truly dead until he is forgotten “ so let’s always remember Technoblade for who he is and the impact he had on people’s lives ❤
I really relate to the feeling of "I didn't know this person personally, why did this effect me so much?". I had lost loved ones before technoblade's passing and I felt wrong for how much the pain was similar though less to the pain from passing of people I had known personally. I woke up seeing dms of my friends talking about it (I live in the UK so when the news struck I was fast asleep) and I had to kind of process all of it while my american friends were asleep. But I think its a good thing to remember that even though we didn't know him personally we still knew a part of him. Like you said, he of course wouldn't be the same on and off camera but it was the same vein of talking to grandparents vs close friends type of thing, it was still a part of him. I don't know if I'm just kinda rambling about points, I feel like I'm repeating what you said in the video at this point my bad. It's a deep pain that we all feel and for anyone reading this who might still really be hurting from techno's passing or a passing of someone they know: It does get better, I promise. I don't believe the grief will ever fully go away and there will still be sad days or moments, but to grieve is to have loved.
It hit me hard as well, the only full video I watched from Techno since his passing was his $10,000 MrBeast video. But when I heard the news I burst into tears. He really has a place in all of our hearts.
I was never even in a voice chat, or server with Techno, but even so I feel the grief from everyone around him after his passing. I loved his videos, and watching his dad's video about his death brought me to tears, and I was on vacation just thinking about what he meant to me. The sadness, and stories everyone shared, or could share could fill a warehouse with happiness and laughter but also sadness, self-reflection and thoughts to what am I worth to other people. Seeing your reaction helps me to gauge one thing. TechnoBlade or by his real name- Alex will be a hero, and role model to all who even experienced his videos, and to his loved ones he will forever mean more than most of us can imagine. TechnoBlade Never Dies
It's still fcking hard to accept for me. I never met him either but still cried when I heard the message. My dad also has cancer and was actually the one who informed me about his death, since it was on the charts, even though he only knew his name because i told him about techno once. Cancer is some serious bullshit. One of my parents friends also died from it, to whose funeral us kids also went. I hope you guys can understand how big of a problem it is now and give some money to the cancer research foundations. The more we know, the better we can treat it.

I really really do admire his positivity in such a horribly dreadful situation. The fact that even when he knew he was going to die, he still was talking about getting his merch out.
“ Not making jokes at peoples expense” orphans left the game
Rest in peace techno🕊️
Tbh I felt the same way when I heard the news I felt bad for crying about it because I never knew him but it felt like I did he shall forever remain in our heart rip technoblade 🕊️
Watching you talk about it is giving me chills. RIP legend. I cried when I first heard the news
People may pass on, but legends never die. Now guys, it’s our turn to make sure that future generations watch him
It has been really hard for me, and I bet a lot of people can relate to this.
After that I went on some minecraft servers and everyone was tributing to him and it was so nice to see how TechnoBlade had this impact on communnity
every technoblade video has made me laugh at least once. even the commentaries. i'm just sad there wont be any more. technoblade never dies, rest in peace
RIP Techno, didn’t realise that a year had already passed without you. Death comes for us all, but it took you too early.
I didn't watch Techno before he passed, but after I heard the news I started to watch him and other MCYTs, and now I know so much more about Minecraft and the MCYT community. It's so sad to think about, but I'm really happy the community is honouring him.
Rest in peace, Technoblade never dies
I wasn't like the biggest fan of technoblade but I still cryed after knowing the news and I didn't knew why.
I honestly can’t believe that it’s been a year since the legend passed away. I’m very glad the Rekrap posted this video because we all need to be reminded of how great and inspiring TechnoBlade was. The Legend Never Dies. 🐷👑😢
This time last year the entire RUclips community was in shock now we still remember the legend. Fly High Techno🕊🕊
i never hesitated. he went straight to heaven.
technoblade never dies!
Thank you so much for an incredible. I’m actually writing my college essay on the same topic, and appreciated knowing that I was not the only one who felt this way despite having little to no direct connection to Techno.
Technoblade will never be forgotten, all the good times he gave us, the smiles he put on ours faces when he uploaded, technoblade never dies
Technoblade did die💀 man why do people say 'technoblade never dies'

I cried for an hour straight after getting the news from my friends. Only the good die young. Rest In Peace, Technoblade.

I don’t even know why, I had only seen a few
Videos at the time but it was just so terrible for me and I pay respects to the people who actually knew him I can’t imagine what they went through. Technoblade never dies!
Hey, I was in Missouri at the same time! I mean, I live here, but still!

It's nice to see you speaking about a person that was THE legend.❤
TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES. Because he will be remembered every single year.
Glad you could at least come out with this video, well done of you
When I saw the quote, I straight up started crying. He was a huge part of us, and will always be the king
It's even in one of his more popular phrases, he never dies.
he didnt give us up
he didnt let us down
he didnt run around and desert us.
he didnt make us cry
he didnt say goodbye
he didnt turn around and hurt you.
he will not be forgotten

I have massive respect for rekrap for not trying to capitalize off his death, or even appear to do that. This video really seems heart felt
That was the final push I needed to start my channel.

i got the same thing, i knew him but i wasn t his #1 fan, but when i woke up, saw the video, watched it i went for a bike ride and in the middle of the road i stopped and started crying
No day passes by without thinking of him, what he’s done, what he’s accomplished. R.I.P Technoblade
Rip you will be missed legend
I think what really made technoblade so great is that he was genuine. so genuine in his feeling and personality.
i dont watch techno much when he was still alive but once he died... it just hits hard I enjoyed him if I was hurt this much from a guy I didn't really watch I could dare to even think of how much his dad and friend went through yet he still was not forgotten thanks alex for how much you helped us
Those aren't deaths, they are tactical resets.

“One day we will look back and see how far we’ve come.” - Technoblade

Technoblade was an inspiration. I hope that one day when we're all long gone, people still remember the legacy of Technoblade.
Such a nice and understandable talk, without giving the feeling of getting clickbaited or doing it for clicks. It's easy to see your love to technoblade!
Although Techno died he will NEVER EVER die in our hearts! Rest in peace Techno. Also I know its been a year but this video legit made me cry.
Even tho technoblade didn’t know us we knew him and loved him ;(❤️
I've never watched Techno, but I still feel sad for all his friends, family and everyone who watched him
You replicated my exact feelings about techno.
He will never die. o7
ngl, you already are also a legend to some people. you are one of the kindest persons on youtube alongside the ryan trahan and i really like the energy in your videos and your persistence in doing what you love to do like your grind in speedrunning.
one day you will hit 10 million and you wont stop growing and getting more fans and i'm looking forward it
We all understand how you feel. Rest in Power, Alex
Technoblade had a huge impact on the gaming community. He inspired millions, and he left behind a legacy like no other. Technoblade never dies!!!
SAD-ist’s “technoblade” video made me cry.
He was my favorite at the time and to see such a great man fall was heart breaking…
It’s good that you made this video,
being late is better than not showing up at all!
I don't believe the grief will ever fully go away and there will still be sad days or moments, but to grieve is to have loved.
thank you rekrap, you really put into words what i've been feeling today it helps to know none of us are alone in this. Technoblade never dies o7
The whole part about parasocial relationships really hits hart, it's sometimes incredible to see that not only us viewers go through it, but the same CC's we see also can feel like that. It's been a year since he left us, yet the wound is still open
ah man. those days were good, and techno will live on in our hearts.
I never watched techno before he died, but when I watched his last video I still cried because I still saw him as one of the Minecraft community’s best people.
