Hi I really could use your advice on a 1979 XL500 that is swapped onto a 1983 XL250R frame. The carb is higher than the boot to the airbox and I see you've done this swap before. So what should I do to link them together the air boot comes out directly under the carb intake
Yup, they don’t line up. You have to modify / cut the airbox to fit. You could add a aftermarket filter. Might have to go one size bigger on the main jet.
Can you do a video on changing spark plug wires on JD la 165 ty
Very good idea. Thx.
Thank you for mentioning the sizes needed prior to me going out there!
👍
But didn’t that just drain the oil out of the new filter as well, or am I wrong?

Are you using the XL250s airbox? Switch it with the XL500s.
Your quick change oil filter 10 W30 does not have synthetic oil. Yet you added 10 W30 synthetic oil.
It is 100% synthetic oil.
