      Awesome! Hope they arrive in good shape. Haven't heard much chatter in the past few days about chick delivery issues.

    Can you do a video on how to pick the right guilt for breeding, good hips for birthing etc? Am I right to assume that Helen is not good for breeding with her issues? I would like to avoid pregnancy, birthing issues.
    Thank you!

      Be glad to do that. You are right. Helen was not built for breeding.

    So whats your opinion for putting pigs on sloped land? Is this a disaster for erosion? Or just have to move them more often. I have 2 options right now get a small green house or get supplies for pigs.

    • @SheratonParkFarms
      @SheratonParkFarms  3 года назад +1

      Slope is fine but yes, they need to move more often.

    Hello great video. Im thinking about getting 2 pigs but only have a place 20'×24' area to keep them at. Would that be big enough for them. Can you make bacon out of the whole pig.

    • @SheratonParkFarms
      @SheratonParkFarms  3 года назад

      We like to follow a pasture method here which gives the pig lots of area to move about on and exercise. I've seen folks keep pigs in a small space and use a deep bedding method that seems to work. On the bacon, no. Bacon comes from the belly of the pig.

    My pig have artificially inseminated on March 3rd. 21 days later it didn't show any sign it's on heat period. But two days ago untill today she's screaming like it's uncomfortable. What happens to my pig? Is it pregnant or not. Thanks in advance
