Good on you for keeping the system intact and functional. The cordless stick vac is definitely easier for quick cleanups, but when you're doing thorough detail cleaning the central vac really shines. Unlimited runtime and extra power! Plus, not having the motor and dirt right in your hand (and the exhaust blowing into the room) is a nice plus. Thosw old antique bronze wall inlets look cool sprayed black! Mine were 50 year old ivory plastic so I just switched them all out for new white ones.

We used it several times in the beginning, and not much since. With cordless vacuums it’s just easier 🤷🏻♂️
