Hello again! I just wanna say that I managed to reach 2772 Meters with a rate of Ascent of 2,56m/s in the Endless-Hard Difficulty Mode 2 weeks ago. It is still not uploaded because I am not sure if that's considered impressive, which is why I'm thinking about speedrunning to at least 3k before uploading that run. What do you guys think?
People who makes speedruns and records - oftenly makes streams and videos of their gameplay, even if they not gonna beat any record yet, and they just training on stream, it would add another layer of reliability to them, so they have records of them trying. Otherwise, if someone just appear out of nowhere, and beat all the records right away, people may bet suspicious, since they never seen this person before, never seen their effort, and see only result, that might be fabricated. Just as example, of what others do. As to my opinion, i just like how you play this game, i would like to watch more of your videos on this game, for sure.
This game is such a masterpiece and this whole journey din't felt like a Demo. Can't wait for the full release, the dev did a majestic job with all that ambience, music and the concept of climbing away from the abyss. :o
Totally, the devs nailed the ambience and music. I was also suprised while playing through the demo about how big the campaign is, even though it's not the full release yet.
I liked how you move fast and act like a speedrunner, but at any moment you can also fall off the hook down because at the end the game starts to hurry and push you forward(flying enemies, the Flood goes faster, more hooks to grab). It is also interesting to read your text, which does not interfere with viewing, but also gives a piece of logic to your actions, emoticons like "-.-" also amused, do not be afraid to use them more often: DD. I hope that you will complete the game after its release, because I will definitely watch your walkthrough, at the same time I will find out how the story of a survivor with a plumbing belt and rock climbing skills ended, who during the escape still manages to fight off monsters who want to make him part of the Flood
Ahhh A fine White Knuckles enjoyer. Actually impressive first run my first, first ended in Silo not even 50 meters high XD But yea out of all climbing games I feel like White Knuckles is at very top and can't wait for full relase
Can't imagine the architect commissioned to do this Architect: "This... This is a death trap!" Eldritch horror in a trenchcoat and moustache: "No is a waste disposal silo, trust me" Architect: "This violates so many OSHA regulations!" Eldritch Horror: *slides 5 dollars across the table*
Good one. Also, you can assign the hammer to either the left or right hands with the 1 or 3 keys, that way you're not wasting time trying to grab/put back the hammer in your inventory when you're hammering the hand-holds.
@@Möjnir Yeah, it does seem more flexible when you can put in either hand, rather than having to position your hands such that you can use your hammer, which could get dicey in more intense parts of the game.
Really good video. I liked your little commentary. My computer isn't strong enough to run this game but I am interested in its mechanics. Would you mind giving me a short explanation as to how all the items and consumables work?
How in the world did you get 790 meters, at that rate of ascent, with only 2200 meters of total climbing/playtime. I'm at 10km total (6 hrs playtime) and I still have barely gotten to 800-ish meters.
lmao when you mentioned the game using the meter instead of american measurements i was initially confused thinking a yard was a meter (thinking it would be the same measurements but different name) when its almost the same but not quite like 900meter is near equal to 984 yards.

@@Möjnir No point in not posting it, you can always private it later if you decide that its not impressive. I think that's pretty rad tbh mate

Took me forever to beat the demo, 6 hours of playing. Forgot I was playing a demo at times. I can not wait for the full game.
Totally

"And the *water level* keeps increasing."
well that was a fucking lie.

10:28 ah yes
"I get: Sacrifice"
"You get: Extra energy for a few seconds"
I love how you didn't figure out you pay with bugs at first even tho there is a circle hole and yellow picture of a bug on the vending machine.
The production value on this video is incredibly amazing. Good job! I hope you make alot more videos like this.
Sick gameplay and great showcase for this game. Been playing for a few hours I hope to get half as nimble as you are in this game
My brother in Christ, that is not water
i love the text commentary/emoticons, great gameplay too
OMG This Demo Version so damm good ! and you got pro move !

Happens xD, glad you enjoyed this game.
It was a solid run. But it wasn’t their first run. On the game over screen they had 7 deaths total. Still impressive but odd.

Thanks, I know about that but I suppose I like it more the way I did it :D

Seems really good!
If you liked that kind of games, maybe you would be into playing more games like that, for a channel ? Climbing and etc ?
speed runs of this game are going to look crazy
You Really are skilled. nice play.

Guess I have fast fingers.
Keep trying, I'm sure you'll learn.
