- Many patients who suffer from erectile dysfunction have a question regarding the duration of treatment of erectile dysfunction? This video is about the same question as to whether this issue can be treated permanently with medication and the modern system of medicines or not. The answer to this depends on the reason of erectile dysfunction. For patients who have psychogenic erectile dysfunction, it may be quite easy to treat the election problems permanently. However if there has been a delay in treatment or the cause of erectile dysfunction is organic which means that either the artery, the sponge or the veins of the penis are damaged then it may be difficult to completely cure erectile dysfunction with medicines especially if the patient has presented very late and a lot of permanent damage has already taken place. Chronic erectile dysfunction needs to be treated like any other lifestyle problem such as diabetes or high blood pressure. In such a situation the patient may need to be on very long-term medications that may continue even for life time. Alternatively the patient can go for other options like penile implant or Vaccuum erection devices or Intra cavernosal Injections.

Doctor, i am facing ed problem since long. I am 75+ . Can i take avanifil or tadalafi. I have tried sildenafil 25mg once hut it gaves me severe headache and stuffy nose.
